Which Lechuck?

So, now that episode 2 has been out for a while, which Lechuck do you like best, the evil, vodooo, version, or the good, kind version?
EDIT: wait, I added a poll where is it.

Btw why would he suddenly become good just because he's not undead?

No such thing as a good, kind LeChuck...

I like human. It's a refreshing change for once. Human LeChuck is awesome.

Also, there are too many commas in your post.

    Nah, I, don't, think, so.

I'm rooting for the human LeChuck. I'd actually love to see him human for future games too. Why? Because I'm sick of the same old formula they used in the last few games. Voodoo LeChuck finds a super Vooodoo thingy, kidnaps Elaine, Guybrush sails around, builds another Voodoo thingy and beats the daylight of LeChuck. It turned into a joke and it got boring. Human LeChuck is new, he's fresh and I have no idea what he'd do most of the time.

Was actually talking to the OP.

And yes, reusing formulas is boring. If I had my way every new game in a given series would have a completely new formula.

definately the evil voodoo undead lechuck

I personally dont care between the two. Also, can a telltale member please tell me what happened to the poll I made.

Well, of course I like the original LeChuck more.

That doesn't mean that a human LeChuck is a bad idea. Even if he remained human forever, even if human LeChuck died and didn't come back, I would be fine with it. Because you can love a character, and still be fine if he's sacrificed for good storytelling, something a lot of fans can't seem to wrap their minds around.

I really like the human LeChuck, and I think you could use him a lot more in the series as a type of supporting character if he remains human. For example, Guybrush could face new foes, but still run into his arch-nemesis LeChuck at various points. Maybe use their history together to build a some kind of competitive relationship where each tries to become a better pirate than the other.

Old LeChuck is designed to be the ideal incompetent but persistent bad guy, giving you a great excuse to crawl around the carribean. He hasn't been as evil as he used to be IMO, so I can't wait till he's restored, hopefully to his former glory.

It is a good question why he's currently good. He was a pretty evil pirate when he was alive, even without Big Whoop. However, I believe that's attributed to the idea that the POX contains all the evil of Lechuck, super natural and natural.

My favorite LeChuck's are the one's in LeChuck's Revenge and Curse of Monkey Island. I feel that his character was most entertaining in those games. In particular I loved the dialog between him and Guybrush in his Carnival of the Damned when he got into the "Villain reveals his evil scheme" bit with Guybrush and a bound and gagged Elaine.
The new LeChuck would probably be a better neighbor, but the original was more entertaining.

To me LeChuck is LeChuck, just because he has a different look doesn't mean he's any less evil.

But for the sake of the thread Un-Dead.

That seems to only count for Curse and Escape; and Escape was pretty much just a parody of the rest of the Monkey Island games. So the concept you mentioned is unique to Curse, and Tales took the step forward by introducing LeChuck to a new setting.

    Top 10 LeChucks.
    1. Human LeChuck (because of his pretend to be human-ish)
    2. CMI LeChuck (the evil touch)
    3. SOMI LeChuck (the first undead pirate)
    4. MI2 LeChuck (zombie-like thing)
    5.
    6.
    7.
    8.
    9.
    10. EMI LeChuck (me didn't like at all)

    Let's see...
    1. SMI - Ghost LeChuck. Nice introduction of the character. FUN.
    2. LCR - Zombie LeChuck. He's changed. He's evil, cruel, scarry. GREAT FUN.
    3. CMI - Demon LeChuck. He's back to what he was in SMI - chasing Elaine, turning people into undead servants. Step back to LCR.
    4. EMI - Idiot LeChuck. Looks like they tried to introduce something new but failed miserably. LeChuck changes forms for no reason, serves Ozzie and is neither funny nor scarry. NOT FUN.
    5. TMI - Human LeChuck. 180 degree turn. He's still kind of menacing and mysterious, but in completly other way. GREAT FUN again.
Summary: Zombie LeChuck (LCR) and Human LeChuck (TMI) are equaly great. Ghost LeChuck (SMI) and Demon LeChuck (CMI) are a little behind (SMI - Lacks charisma and doesn't appear on screen very often, CMI - doing the same thing he was doing in SMI). Idiot LeChuck (EMI) stays far behind.

    This.

I'm fine if in a TV Show, Movie, etc. my favorite character is killed off as long as he gets put off in a good way. Like
    Nathan Petrelli
in Heroes, he died for a just cause. I'm fine with it as long as he died for a just cause.

This incarnation of Lechuck is really cool. He's so creepy, and you're always so suspiscious of his intentions. Telltale did a really good job, he's my favourite Lechuck so far.

Even if his voice is different!

I liked demon LeChuck... all that rotting flesh, spitting... wow. Just amazing

    You mean zombie lechuck?

Demon Lechuck was my second favourite, his voice acting was superb, and he was the first LeChuck I ever saw, and I thought he was an awesome villain.
