UPDATE!

THANK YOU
for your help, it seems like we got a really good amount of tests to play with, so no more emails need to be sent in. If you haven't received an emailed response by Wednesday (and remember to check your spam folders) then post here to help us with the bug reporting.

You guys are champs, thanks for your awesomeness!

If you love mindless, repetitive tasks, have we got a job for you!

It has come to our attention that our Support system is a little wonky- there's been reports of missing tickets, unreceived emails and the like. In order to get the best support possible, we're going to do a Support Ticket Test... this is where you come in.

We need people to send in ONE support ticket on MONDAY, to support@telltalegames.com with the subject:
"Look, a 3 Headed Monkey! (your forum name)"

The body of the email should be:

"Hello Telltale, this email is to test your support system. I am totally awesome for helping out and expect to hear from you soon.

Your Name:
Your Forum Handle: "

You should get an automated response from our system with a ticket number. If you haven't received a personal (non-automated) reply from us within 3 days (that's on Thursday) post here to say that there's been some error and we'll torture you for information. I'm dusting off the stretching rack as we speak.

Thank you so much for your help in helping us grow. We have a great support team, so we just need the technical part taken care of. Post here if you're gonna give it a whirl!

Time doesn't matter, we just won't start answering those tickets over the weekend. Probably Monday only, depending on how many people wanna help us out. We'd like a large group.

    Glad to see you're participating!

What exactly do we have to do? We send them a ticket? What kind of ticket? How do I send a ticket ?

I'm ready, willing and almost able

I'll try to remember. Maybe I should send in a support ticket today asking for them to remind me Monday to send in a support ticket...

If my mind hasn't been completely shut down by the big exam I have on Monday, I'll definitely send in a ticket. Telltale support has been some of the very best that I've ever had, and I'd be glad to help out.

Already have the e-mail saved as a draft. Gee, I hope I remember to send it.

So am I (willing but a little uncertain how to do it) Do I get it right, that we send an E-Mail to TTG (with subject and text as is shown in Nikasaur's Post) on Monday and then wait for replys to happen and/or write again if nothing happens?

Another Question: By Your Name, Do You mean Our real names? And what's a forum handle?
  • edited September 2009
Sure, I love you guys and I will help you. It'll be a pleasure.
But only if you'll givE ME YOUR GOLD! ALL OF YOUR GOLD!
    *COUGH COUGH*
    Sorry, it was the pox.
