It looks worse then the high end games (okami, Mario, Zelda, Resi 4, Metroid, conduit (effects wise)) But i love the art style, and i have to say it looks alot better then a few future releases i can think of (Call of duty: Modern warfare: Wii, NSMBwii, Sam&Max 2 (assuming it looks the same as 1))
I would also say, going back to chapter one, that chapter two is a marked improvement, which may have influenced things (i had just finished it, as it had been released the day before in the UK).
The art style IS amazing and mostly in tact, so if you're talking about how the visual style is then I agree that it looks great. I am talking about the way it looks technically. If you look at it closely, you can see muddy textures, lots of aliasing, minimal lighting, etc.
Chapter two is a noticeable improvement in performance and audio quality, but it's still pretty poor quality overall.
i got the demo for the pc, loved it, so deided to buy the full thing for the wii as i thought the controls would be well suited.
then i played the thing, and it is horrific. i don't know what version of the game the other guy was playing but i can assure you the colours are not brighter on the wii, they are drab and washed out, made worse by the fact that i've seen better looking textures on a ps1. the sound is a joke too.
so basically it was so terrible that i couldn't even face playing the thing, so i bought it for the pc instead, so had to pay for it twice. nice.

Actually, buying the first wii episode, and the PC box set is still cheaper than buying all 5 wii episodes.
@paleman:I'd put the Jaggies down to Nintendo's crappy 480P max hardware. The game looks a bit better in 480i though. To me, actual graphic don't mean that much. Art style does however (which is why Okami is my favourite game) but i would mind alot more if the PC got the graphics it does now, and the wii version had to lump it with EFMI graphics. Considering the wii is only 1.5 times as powerful as the PS2, i'm surprised it managed as it did, considering this was a download (and yes, i'm aware EFMI was a launch window game)
This reminds me of the Strong Bad thread of the same name back when the SBCG4AP series was new and still being worked on. And many of the comments mirror what was said as well, perhaps even some by the same people (looking at Rather Dashing, who I know was in there at the time).
I'd have to say that it pretty much is indeed a case of the PC version being greatly superior. Even if all you look at is the price, which I certainly do, it's a better argument. I have the entire Strong Bad season/series on the Wii, and while I had loads of fun with it, I did grow rather tired of using the Wii as a mouse rather quickly. Compared to the demo of Monkey Island Episode 1, where I can just use the arrow keys or tab for many things, the Wiimote controls can even give you cramps after a while.
Now, as for the arguments against the Wii version.. I actually have to say that despite my wishing I'd gotten SBCG4AP on the PC, I'm not unhappy I got the Wii version. It gave my Wii new life and I still go back to play episodes from time to time (mind you I have to keep deleting some to make room to play the others...). Graphically speaking, I thought the games looked fine. Then again, growing up with 8-bit (or less at times) graphics on the Commodore, Atari and NES will probably dull the impact of less than stellar 3-D graphics as it seems to have affected others in here.
To be perfectly honest, if it weren't for the lack of Bonus DVD with the games included after the season is over (and the extra money spent per episode) I'd have said go with the Wii version anyways.

Can't the Wii use the nunchuck for movement? That sounds ideal, and maybe even more comfortable than keyboard controls.

SBCG4AP looks far better on the Wii than Tales does due to the art style of the cartoons. The graphics were less of a concern with SBCG4AP than they are now, easily.
About the space, now that they let you save channels to an SD card, you can just load them up from that.
Not that I by any means SUGGEST the Wii version, but if you go with it you might as well have the most convenience possible.

i am very bitter about it.

Moving with the nunchuck does work pretty well, but I'm not a fan of the poor accuracy on the wiimote.
