    thespis,

i suggest you play again, and watch closely, you will see the analog stick icon for stuff like, decoding, etc... hell he even uses a 360/ps controller... two analog sticks..

i dont need to justify myself, I didnt say EVERY key was this way, just sometimes.. and even one means the game wasnt really made FOR the pc but FOR 360 and ported.. somewhat decently in terms of ports but still..

I would imagine that the console version was created first (only just mind), but as there is not that much difference in coding for the 360 & coding for the PC, the PC version is derived from the 360 version and possibly a couple of on screen prompts slipped through the net. Essentially the meat of the game is exactly the same across all versions, the only real differences are in the way input & output is handled (and even then, outputting for the PC & 360 are very similar as they both use DirectX).

So games these days can be made for both the PC & 360 at the same time and so it is entirely possible that the devs just simply missed a couple of small things like what you mentioned.

I suggest you check your settings because the game is made to also work with the 360 controller for PC. Or, maybe you played the cracked version and not the retail version. I don't know, but you are wrong.

When I needed to decode, I got a display of "A" & "D" plus right and left mouse button.

I can go back and make some screen shots if it'll make you happy. I payed very close attention to the controls that were displayed, and never once got 360 controls. Never.

Yeah same deal here, never saw a 360 prompt the whole way through the game at all. My first thought was that maybe Kaldire had used the 360 controller for other games

i have, so it might be the issue lol

sorry if it is indeed my mistake there

but to correct you, you can contact the game dev.. or ask here any dev that uses HDR vs sm2 etc..

we are in an era where that 360 cant support what pcs do.. at all, ps3s can, but not 360.
so a game is either coded for one and the code is just altered to fit (ie controls changed and some menu options added etc) but overall its still just a shotty port
THEN you have the games that come out on console first.. then take like a year or so to put out on pc, these are the games being redone and form fitted for pc adding blooming HDR and whatever else dx10 can toss at you.. with batman they DID add a few of such features, but ive seen it on both 360 and pc and it looks the same, minus the resolution factor of monitors to tv.

but yes i will check the controller :P

no one else has the 360 pc controller thing? i find it helpful..

and no way is this cracked ( i bought the preorder with batrang!) cost me an arm n leg

Nope, the only way you would be given those x-box button prompts is if you leave your pad connected when playing. Unplug it.

I thought I'd finished the story mode... this happened at the end
I pulled The Joker off the ledge for the third time and it went to a cutscene. Batman put the explosive gel on his hand and punched the Joker in the face sending him reeling to the ground.

Then it told me I'd failed the mission and gave me the option to retry.

Anyone know if that's a bug... or did I do something wrong?

It's a bug i'm afraid. I got something similar when fighting his henchmen beforehand

Got a used copy of it this weekend since I began watching the animated series last week. I've only managed to play for an hour or so, but I like it so far. The Batman feeling is really there and the characters are gorgeous! Best Joker and Harley Quinn so far.

I'm really looking forward to playing it this week. Hopefully I won't drown in homework.

I think the guy who does the voice for the Riddler is the same person who did the voice for one of the C.O.P.S in SnM season 2
