Spoilers (No not spoilers in the thread, it's a thread about spoilers)
Normally when I'm looking forward to a game, I don't mind having a few things spoilt from the beginning.
It's kind of necessary, because I need to know what type of game it is, and how it plays, if I'm to know whether it looks like it's worth playing and whether I should keep an eye out for it.
With episodic games though I've found that my expectations are a little different. When I'm waiting for the next episode, I think I've got a very good idea of how the game will play, as I've already played the previous episodes. Also, I've already made the conscious decision to get myself hyped up when I brought the series in the first place.
So I've found myself desperately trying to avoid the spoilers for the next episode of Tales. I really don't think I want to know until I'm playing.
I mean, even if the spoilers only cover the first half hour, that's still quite a large part of the episode.
Anyone else feel the same way?

Also, it's nice to get something in between episodes while you're waiting, to fuel speculation.
When it comes to spoilers, as long as it doesn't ruin the end or the middle of the episode I really don't care.
And it is nice when they release a teaser or a short.
Spoilers:
In a sense I'm setting myself up to be spoiled anyway. I have helped a friend of mine fact check a Tales of Monkey Island Ch. 3 preview article that he was working on, for example, and as a result got spoiled on several very interesting things (one or two which I recommended that he might like to consider holding back from the article for being slightly too spoilery). Also, doing stuff for Mixnmojo means that I actively look out for MI news and tidbits related to upcoming stuff, which means I see spoilers. I know some of the other Mojo folks are more careful, but it just doesn't bother me.
To me, knowing a few things about the game is never going to spoil the actual experience of playing the game. It always feels different once it's in my hands.
I see it as the next bit of the game that I have to wait a month to play.
If they'd been released all at once as one game, I wouldn't want someone telling me what was about to happen next randomly every few hours.
