I don't know about the rest of you, but for some reason I really really liked:
*swaps Murray's head with Santino's*
"Ohoho! You just made the biggest mistake of your LIFE!!!"
Murray's end was great, though I fear he won't appear again in TMI - being locked in that chest does seem to limit his options somewhat. (Murray and the credits had me in stitches, more than the actual game, though that's not to say I didn't enjoy the game.) It was nice to have him fully integrated into the story and puzzles though, even if there wasn't really an explanation as to how he got there.
De Cava made for an entertaining character, with his not-so sane take on life. Though it looks doubtful we'll see him again either. He couldn't get out the manatee the first time...
Actually he could, He gave Guybrush the manatee juice to get out the back end. I don't know whether he had it initially or if he made it in the manatee. So, it's possible for them to return.
You know again I have to say this was the best chapter yet, because I forsee the next two being dark, and maybe even serious( Wich I kind of doubt, and I thought murrays ending was so fitting.. I don't think I've ever laughed this much through a game in years, and I'm going throw this in too, I honestly don't want a second season...I want it to be a while before another monkey Island game, because remember the last time they released a MI game to soon.( Escape.) When all the other games have been spaced quite a few years apart. All in all I enjoyed chapter 3, and I can't wait until next month.
Guybrush and Elaine are rock solid (well, Guybrush is solid at least, who knows what Elaine's been doing with LeChuck throughout Chapter 3). But Morgan has enough back-story / player empathy now to warrant a romantic entanglement of her own (possibly with Le Chuck), or find some other kind of personal fulfilment.
I do get the impression that she'll wind up happy at the end of Tales - just not with Guybrush.
Yeah I think Morgan will Fall madly in love with Guybrush, and team up with LeChuck to split Elanie and him up. what a Duo that would be! LeChuck after Elanie and Morgan after Guybrush.
Did anyone else think that Morgan would have to wear Elaine's wedding ring in order to pose as Guybrush's wife? I thought for sure that was where they were going with it, guess it has yet to serve its' purpose.

That's exactly what I was expecting. I thought for sure somewhere in the conversation Guybrush would have to produce at least one wedding ring between the two of them (and create yet another quest in getting it back later, not to mention doing some explaining to Elaine...).
Seemed like the obvious plot choice at the moment, but I'm more than cool with the way things went.
But i think at the end something will happen to show that Elaine is the only girl for Guybrush
Agreed. I mentioned in another thread that I think Guybrush's unwavering commitment to Elaine is part of what makes him such a likeable character. If he were to to so easily fall for Morgan, I think it would cheapen his character. As much as it might add a fresh aspect to the story, I think it would be a mistake.
Plus, I still think Elaine is up to something. The way she gave him the ring in Chapter 2 and said, "trust me" makes me think she knows something is going to happen and was preparing for it. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I second that!

Yeah there really wasn't much of Elaine in this episode, so I'm still wondering what's going on with her, being affected by the pox. She wasn't affected by it when she gave Guybrush her ring, though. Anyways, I hope she's still herself now.
I won't say this was "the best" episode yet, because there still are two to come, and I loved all of the episodes so far - so I'll just say this whole game is awesome! I loved it, I loved the credits of chapter 3, and I keep looking forward to playing the next one(s)!
Sure, Guybrush's fidelity makes him likeable, it's just a pity Elaine herself isn't. Ever since Curse she's been a bit of a bore. I mean, can you imagine the feisty Elaine from the first two cames coming out with patronising schlock such as "I thought I'd never say this, but I'm proud of you". I don't know where the ridiculously nice, ridiculously kind aspect of her character came from, it doesn't suit the wife of a mighty pirate at all. If anything, she's more likeable when under the influence of the pox. That's why at this stage Morgan feels like a better match.
Maybe, but as Morgan was disappointed to discover, Guybrush doesn't fit the mold of a mighty pirate either.
But the whole point is he wants to be a mighty pirate, and thinks of himself as one. Elaine suited that fantasy at first, but in Escape and Tales (and to a lesser extent, Curse), she just drags it down. Besides, he is a mighty pirate, just not a conventional one.
So, is LeChuck immune to the pox? seems like everyone all over are effected except him. That makes him, and now guybrush, the only people not infected with it. interesting things are a-coming...

MI2 was only about a year after MI1

Yeah, I like the art of the cards. I'm guessing it's done by the same person who did the art for #2's icon.

Anyways ending credits was my most impressed part, first time I have played game where in ending credits there is character commenting about credits.
