Hey, Steve commented on your fanart. That's pretty awesome!
I'm not so sure. Actually, I'm confident that's not him. None of Starchie's posts are congruent with the way Steve Purcell writes in his blog, much less with how he typically responds to fanart.
Yeah, I just saw a post in which it was revealed that Starchie is really.... The Highway!
(Which wouldn't make sense if we weren't talking in forum names.)
He sure fooled me, even after April 1st... I still feel a bit hurt though...
I made this for "Telltale Tuesday Toy-day" But alas it was not picked... but the image makes me giggle so I will post it here... it was a pogoball that makes you able to leap great bounds and land safely.
this is not really fanart but I thought maybe someone would want a Sam dialogue avatar...
Actually, it is fanart, because you, a FAN took the time to mess around with it, a messing around with images is also known as ART. (also, I'm stealing that for my avatar. Credit to you.
well ive never seen one, so i wasnt aware of this fact. in light of this new information, it is an excellent publication. when can i expect it on the shelves? :P
I drew this a while ago, but didn't think of posting it here until now. The first time I drew Max (and to date the best >_>):
As you can see, I turned the page upside down before drawing, so he ended up upside down in my drawing notebook. I have no idea why I did that, but it seems rather fitting for Max. (original non-flipped version)
And yeah, I know lines=bad, but I'm not confident enough to draw in a sketchbook (yet).
It was a cold night, and all I had to keep me warm was Johnny Walker, since the super still hadn't fixed the heating, and Laura had left me. She said she couldn't take the long, lonely nights when I was out on a case. I told her I felt the same way, but she left just the same. I don't blame her. There are nights when I wish I could leave, too, but whiskey ain't free and I need it more than ever now.
I was just finishing up what would have been my third highball, if I'd had a glass, when she walked in. Or I should say "entered" since it's hard to walk when you don't have any legs.

Yeah, still freakin' huge.
And if Steve actually went on here and commented on all this stuff, I'd be very honored. Even if he would just pass over the stupid stuff I crank out.

Sam wearing glasses is REALLY attractive :I;;
I love you
At least that's not how I would paint it. *COUGH*
Either way, I doubt it's going to bring him luck.
I think it's really amusing.
And yes, he is pretty cute with glasses.
Good one,I hope the avatar will add to the avatars menu ..
That's not Tris Martinez

Could even be the cover of a game. I like it!
It's good, but you have too many different/clashing fonts.
No, they did not. Oh well...
