I just noticed there wasn't a release date on the video. NOVEMBER IT IS!

and why didn't Majus did the voice for the lookout? he did it in the first monkey island flash.

It’ll be october. Look at the credits :)
And Andreis voice for the Lookout is priceless! A hundred times better than mine!

I dont think that he will be acussed of Piracy... maybe for the winds or something else... The trial, will be scape from the prision just to get to rescue elaine, Stan may be there selling something :P Or maybe as a lawyer, who knows

Hehe, awesome.... My favorite line was "Huh? Sorry, I don't speak Tung-Gah."
    :):):)

Sorry Voodoo Lady, you have been replaced. Thanks Majus :) I'm also glad you went with the fluted sleeves for Guybrush. It really brings attention back to his shoulders and his beard, and the Princess waist helps to elongate his legs.

sooo wering a pink dress isnt manly T_T
  • edited October 2009
    That was down right hysterical!

My favorite part was "He's guilty because he's competition!" from Sam and Max.

Some how I could see the real trial going some what like that.

    Good Job :)

I love you, Majus. And yes, in a creepy way.
  • edited October 2009
It was really, really good. :D

There were a couple of errors in the subtitles, but nothing life threatening.
  • edited October 2009
Calling out that snip-snap = YES.

I feel like a noob for not catching what this is referring too :( Can someone halp?
  • edited October 2009
Well it's official, Stan agrees that Guybrush is down right sexy in a pink dress. As to why he has the picture....that's deeply questionable...

A lot of Telltale character models in Tales of Monkey Island like to snap their fingers when they talk.

    Almost everyone! :D

Are you sure you guys don't work for some kind of sub of telltales?
    You are too awesome!:D

I want Morgan to get ahold of the picture of Guybrush in a dress XD

I just loved it when Stan said that Guybrush locked him in a coffin. I want to play CMI again now.

Well done Majus, Good and improving.

You know I've been playing through Sam and Max Season 2 lately and noticing an awful lot of finger-snapping there too. I think they overdid it in Tales so much that now I'm cringing every time I see Sam do it.

    P.S. Loved the flash!!

Majus(and team) you are my god(s)!
    Stan. was. hilarious. Fwah.

Thanks for all the awesome comments guys! I had no internet connection up until now so I just saw the full animation. Brilliant work everyone!
Some of you asked what's with the Tun-Gah line... As I recorded Stan's lines, we were first going with "Sorry, I don't speak french".
I just recorded some variations of that line, and just for fun I invented the name of this african language "Tun-Gah". Apparently, Majus thought that it's funnier, so there ya go :)

For this one, and for the third one, Majus and I worked together on the dialogues. It's just awesome to work with him because you can practically get into character and think of what your character would respond in this given situation.
Imagine a dialogue between Majus and me, Guybrush and Stan or Guybrush and Murray, and you'll understand how funny lines just spring out of nowhere :)

This video was especially hilarious. I wonder how many things you got right. I guess we'll find out next week... Dammit! :p

One thing I've been wondering: Do you do any auditions for the voice acting? I mean, on internet of course... Or they're just all friends? I just ask out of curiosity :D

Nice! :) Oh, the soundtrack is pretty! It's like a different version of the intro music from CMI, right? Not the main theme, I mean, but the music that plays right at the beginning, before Guybrush appears in his bumper car, you know what I mean?

Actually, the snapping overuse began with Night of the Raving Dead, if I'm not mistaken, and has simply carried through to Monkey Island. Obviously it was less of an issue in Strong Bad since many characters have no arms and...hey, someone should ask if he can snap with boxing gloves on :p

Is that just me, or does De Singe have "Eye of the manatee" glasses in the end of the flash movie? It kinda looked like that.

Oh, and, by the way, is there a reason why there was no spoiler warning this time? I mean, okay, I guess people who haven't played the games yet won't watch them anyways, but I was just wondering.

    Awesome as always guys :) (although I haven't seen the 2nd one....yet)

I was just thinking, It would be pretty neat if you have referenced the Trial of "The Pirate bay", like showing desk of the judge with the execution failed paper for The Pirate bay case XD ...
  • edited October 2009
My favourite jokes in this IWWH:

    - Stan saying it might be his first winning case.
    - When Stan was eating when the judge asked if the defense was ready.
    - "Oh no, call me Stan."
    - "A list of whatnesses?" And also when de Singe went into a fit in the background.
    - How observant the Lookout guy was.
    - "A mighty flooring inspector".
    - "A clown? No, not the prosecution! My client, Guybrush Threepwood! Mighty pirate!"
    - When Stan testified against Guybrush.

Hahaha, brilliant! Thanks man, that rocks! And it’s in german! :D
Thanks for the many nice words people. And cool quotes, glad people like the »A clown, where?« joke very much :)
My favorite one, by far, is »Is it okay if I just approach your desk?«. Andrei spoke that line perfect.

And of course, I’m relieved that you like the ending. I wanted to do something creepy like the Voodoo-doll-torture-scene in the finale of »LeChucks Revenge«.
