I'm still gonna go for the Voodoo Lady, I still believe she has some EVIL mojo and juju. I'd LOVE for Guybrush to be an undead pirate GOD, but I don't see it happening. Lechuck? Why would I want him being the big EVIL guy again?
Hmmm... now it looks more like Elaine will be the pirate god. But if guybrush manages to cure her because she's is poxed now then Le Chuck will be the pirate god.
If it was the Voodoo lady, it'd remind me too much of POTC. LeChuck's the most obvious guess, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he was it. I'm hoping it's someone we wouldn't suspect. Noogie would be perfect.
Le Chuck or Guybrush himself. I really hope it won't be DeSinge, if it has to be an enemy, it has to be LeChuck! I hope that TT won't do the same mistakes of MI4 (LeChuck was an idiot submitted to Ozzie, remember?), even if DeSinge is soooo much better than Mandrill.
I'm the god, I'm the god! Sorry I just couldn't help making an MST3K reference. (Which is itself a reference, completing the circle of bizarre quoting.)
At the end of Chapter 4, Guybrush will start to die, and we'll be left on a cliffhanger, which will be resolved at the opening of Chapter 5 with his amputated hand turning into a low-powered duplicate Guybr-
Nah. Nobody'd do anything as dumb as that idea, right?
I actually have this theory. In chapter 5, it's like ice station santa's plot (slight spoilers) There is a pirate god, but guybrush defeats him and the throw all the voodoo away in some mysterious way. Just then, Stan walks by, notices the item, and becomes the true villain.

I don't know... either Lesinge or lechuck. I hope that Lechuck's evil demonic ways reemerge, and as he seems the miost obvious villain I chose him.. There is no way that lechuck is really taking all those monkeys back to their homes without an ulterior motive.. got to be a hidden agenda there.
I have no way of knowing but if Guybrush is the Pirate God it would have to be a puzzle where you make people think you are a Pirate God because it would sort of me out of character, and against the main MI theme for Guybrush to become anything more that just a wanna be screw up pirate.

Screw-up? You poor man... You think GT is a failure? Man, your brain must be flipped or something!
LeChucks evil scheme is to turn t ohuman, steal elaine from GT and to make himself evil once again, and to have entire carribean under control, because everyone who have the pox will become LeChucks minions. sorta like Overlord.

Yeah, I'm with you.
I go with this
However "The executution of Guybrush Threepwood", followed by "The Rise of the Pirate God" does seem to suggest it's Guybrush.
Yeah, this is kind of why I thought Guybrush too, but it could be someone Guybrush has to do battle with too.
Nor Treblig! Actually IN the game, now that would be a sight to see.

Meta Crisis Guybrush?

But if it's Guybrush, being a "Pirate God" is probably a lot more like being a "Mighty Pirate." As in just a title, not an actual omnipowerful being.
He's been behind it all I tells ya!
And we never really did see him die, it was all part of his master plan, just wait and see!
