Can't wait till I graduate (well maybe that should be if I graduate...no, wait let's be positive - I WILL graduate....oops, kinda gone off on a tangent there, where's that damned closing parenthesis...oh, here it is!) next year and so be free to travel even though I'll have no money and be desperately looking for a job.....
While it's incredibly cool that they're trusting the community with their secret new project, and while it's a good idea that they're looking for such early input from players, and while this is most likely Sam and Max Season 3, all of this is irrelevant in light of the fact that I do not live in the Bay Area, that sliced bread is not the most amazing invention, that Arthur Dent's best friend is in fact an alien from a planet in he vicinity of Betelgeuse, that this is possibly the most confusing sentence I'll ever write and you'll ever read, and that your mind has exploded from the sheer pressure of trying to read and comprehend it, just as my mind is about to explode trying to comprehend what the secret project could possibly be other than Sam and Max Season 3.
"Stay tuned for even more exciting Wallace & Gromit anniversary announcements from Telltale on November 3rd."
But I'm thinking this 'Unannounced next game" is possibly a license we're unaware of. And they'll no doubt be announcing it shortly after the playtest.
I guess if Sean and Jake posted about it, I can say something. In the email Will the Lead Tester Extraordinaire sent out, he said it was for a non-Monkey Island game, and that they'd like to get people who aren't familiar with Telltale to test it if they could. So everybody! If you're within driving distance of San Rafael, grab an innocent bystander and come enjoy a non-Monkey Island game and pizza!

See now, I want to be one of those lucky people out there...because if I was..I would be out there.
Is it possible to drive from London to San Francisco? Because I would to playtest an MI game.
Drive from London to Heathrow, 45 minutes. Wait for plane, 2 hours. Take plane from Heathrow to SFO, 9 hours. Get off plane and get rental car, 30 minutes to an hour. Drive from SFO to hotel downtown, 45 minutes. Collapse in hotel room, 16 hours. Drive from hotel to play test, 35 minutes. 5 hours at playtest. Rinse and repeat. And all in under 67 hours! Give or take an hour in case of traffic. Totally worth it

He also said to "wait till MI train stops" before expecting an announcement.

Well, expand your concept of driving distance, and there you go!
I like that theory.

As do I. It would explain that whole steam debacle when an extra ep appeared.
Edit:
Just a bit of Telltale lore
Oh, if it only it were true! I do get so tired of having to solve those bothersome puzzles to get to the next cutscene.
Or Will, since he's actually organizing it.
