metal gear steam

will metal gear solid ever be on steam because from what I understand they only have games witch have been on pc on it and metal gear solid 1 was on pc

    It would require some MAJOR work to be done to the game though, I have it on PC and well, Konami suck at porting games when they made this. If you have a graphics card that's newer than a Geforce 4 series, then the game simply doesn't see it and forces you to software render the game, plus the amount of crashes on newer operating systems post Windows ME (Yes ME for chirst sake!) and audio issues with sound cards. This game would have to be patched and brought up to speed quite a bit.

    Well, they could release it with really bad compatibility. (32bit vista/xp only)
    But they most likely won't put it on steam at all. You should get it on the PSN if you have a PS3 or PSP.

    I can't get the update to work to download stuff from PSN

    I'd like to see MGS2. It was still a fairly finicky port, but it never had me screaming for a controller like the MGS1 port did.

    I will agree with you there sir...I couldn't imagine playing anything, But MG and MG2 Solid snake on PC.
