Can someone confirm this? Man, sometimes I wish I lived in the USA.
Was this awesome or horrible? Is it worth looking up on ebay?

    I haven’t watched it… but it really has nothing to do with what you expect. The Family is called Edison. There is a scientist, I dunno. The rest seems like standard-family-sitcom.

    I think there is a reason why it’s not that popular.

    I remember watching this back in the day. All I remember about it was that there was this guy who was a fly.

    Wow. I wonder why I'd never heard of that before.

    I checked around on YouTube, and here's a clip. Here's the opening to season 1, and to season 2. I can't watch them at the moment, so I can't say anything about how they are.

    I've heard about this show... I've heard that it's really, really, really bad, and that it doesn't have much in common with the game except for some names.

    But what do I know. This is just stuff I've heard from a friend. :P

    It was definitely bad, but in a cult-classic way. It had about as much to do with the game as Friday the 13th: The Series had to do with the movies. (absolute squat)

    I'd heard of it, though I've never seen it. The main things I know about it was that it was about an Edison family, and there was a character called Dr Fred Edison.

    I read in an interview that it isn't very faithful to the game though. The series, funny enough, does actually get a mention in DOTT when
    Dr Fred gets a phone call to say he is owed two million dollars for his game and TV series based on his home.

    It was a standard family sitcom, I remember watching a few episodes and it takes place about 20 years after DOTT. But other than that it had very few simalirites with MM and DOTT.

    I think the show was made between Maniac Mansion and DOTT. Pretty sure it's mentioned as part of Dr Fred's failed licensing schemes (he made no money off of licensing his likeness for the Maniac Mansion game or TV series). Also, that show looks horrible.

    The title music of the opening videos are just too subtle for a song that has "Maniac Mansion" for chorus.

    There were already two other "Maniac Mansion" shows. The Munsters and The Addams Family.

    Hmmmm. You might want to track down whoever it was who dressed up as Purple Tentacle for a Video Games Live concert in London two years ago. It won the costume contest.

    Cool! DOTT movie! Can I be Lavern? Hahahaha

    I have to ask, what the *beeeeeeeeep* is with that Maniac Mansion opening theme? It sounded like the lady was on heavy sedatives while taking a bath with the tv about to fall in the tub! Ok, maybe not quite like that... but it was really bad!
