Need a Voice Actor?

Wow, my first thread. whoppeee!

Anyway, while reading Romeo and Juliet in my Advanced English class this week, I had one or two parts. I used my voice and did my best to project the feeling, while everyone else sounded dead.

And I thought: Wow, this is fun!

So.

If anyone needs a voice actor anytime, just send me some lines to recite and tell me how you like 'em.

I'm female, but my voice is kinda deep. I can sound however you need -- I can raise or lower the pitch of my voice.

Maybe one day I can voice act and make something big of myself.

An actress, no.
A singer, no.

But I really enjoy projecting my voice like that. It was so much fun.

So, help a bored kid out? Let me know if you ever need a voice actor<3

Thanks~

Yeah, I've heard her before and she's pretty good at imitating other people's voices, and I think she's a pretty good actress, too.

There is a guy who is making a Shenmue Fangame called Shenmue 2010 that is looking for voice actors. Look it up on youtube. If you are as good as you say you are than I am sure that you would be a welcome addition.

Well, when I checked the account on YouTube a good amount of people were saying it was a fake, trick project. :c

If you are looking into it as a carreer, Dom (DMNKLY) gave some tips as to how to go about getting it. It was in one of the fan Q&A sessions found in the Private pirate club section.

    That's funny.
I'm actually a voice actor from Holland.
If you like doing it you should start concentrating on your voice.
Start training yourself in articulation, and try some different accents.
Try to focus on getting all the emotion of a character into your voice.
Maybe you could send me a demo tape, I'll tell you honestly what I think of it.

I've been imitating voices since I was 3 and whenever I get behind a microphone I just really live up. It's a really great job if you can get it.

I you (or anyone on here) is really serious about doing some VA, I'll post when I'm ready - I have 3 different projects I'm working on (none very far along yet, sadly, due to time) that I will need VAs for (acctually 3 series and a 2-hour-ish movie)

I repeat, that these are nowhere near finished (barely started) but I will eventually be looking for VAs, and if any of you are intersted I'll make sure to post here when I'm ready. (with any luck I'll have the first eppisode done by spring and be able to turn out an eppisode every month or two)

And it goes TRIPPLE if anyone here is a CG Animator, I'm doing all this in CG and 1 person doing all the work is hell, if anyone's interested in subcontracting any animation work let me know.

(oh and a warning, this would all be for free (and a credit in the work, with a letter of reccomendation if desired) I cant afford to pay anyone. just making sure you all know that *awkward laugh*)

    @ Ashton

So how's everything coming along? I'd like to see some of your work.
    Remember, it's almost spring. ;)

The way I see it, if you really want to do a fandub, you should do it with a movie that hasn't been translated to English yet.
To tell you the truth, I'm not overly fond of fandubs, and most of them don't even get looked at because they just imitate the original source, but worse.
Try finding some obscure foreign animated movie, or maybe an anime, and try dubbing that, at least people will watch it.

Oh, and Ralph Bakshi is pretty awesome!

Hay i have come to know Romeo and Juliet is an imaginative story not exist in the real life at all. Is it so? Tell me you are the student of literature.:)

I recommend that you make a demotape of yourself doing a range of different voices with different personalities, and putting that somewhere people can listen/download easily for whenever they're interested.

I'm an animator (2D, frame-by-frame, usually Flash) so I'll let you know if I have anything I'm working on that I think might be appropriate. :)

I do enjoy voice acting, I am quite the excellent public speaker, but puberty is a bitch, and she has a hold of my throat at the moment.

Here's the demo tape I use to get assignments.
You can use it as an example or something.
    (It's in dutch though.)
