Actually, I just tend to hang out on the forum for the currently-released game, and only recently I've been a bit more active in General Discussion and Forum Games. But thanks!
Off-topic: I get mistaken for being male, but only on forums for discussing computer games.
I've been a member of forums before without ever really hearing from any of the staff, at least here they do still make posts a.k.a they actually exist!
It amuses me that so many girls are mistaken for guys, but I'm the only guy on here that has ever been mistaken for female. (in WoW every. guild. i'm. ever. in. thinks I'm female...
I've seen no other professional forum that has real honest-to-god staff members posting. None. So I guess this place is already a cut above the rest even as it sits with few posts splattered here and there...
D'aww, cheers. What other forums do you mean, though? Outside of one other forum I administrate at, this is the only one I spend this much time on at the mo'.
I guess I am thinking of Kotaku (not really a forum), where I see your comments (I lurk). And I just realized a person I thought was you actually isn't, so nevermind. Awkward (has a similar name and avatar style).
Also, weren't you on 3DRealms forums? Or am I making that up too?

Are you sure Kotaku-me isn't me? I do have a rather illustrious commenting history there under the name "ShaggE: Cracking Eggs of Wisdom". Unless you're talking about ShaggyB, who I now realize I haven't seen comment in quite awhile.
I did post on 3D Realms' forum a couple of times, but while lurking I noticed that they have a bit of an elitist mindset there, so I didn't bother to stick around.
Speaking of forum-goers seeing each other at other forums, did you ever post at LD4All? I seem to remember knowing a Derwin there.

You frequent Kotaku too? I'll look out for you on there. I go by my extended username of FriarLawrenceIII.
@ ShaggE -> The Kotaku you is you. The person that I doubt is you is over on Joystiq. As for LD4all, I am not that Derwin if there is one.
@ Friar -> As for Kotaku, I am a frequent lurker, but maybe I will start commenting at some point. I will keep an eye out for the Friar if I do start (though given my attention span, I probably wont even get around to setting up an account on Kotaku unless I have one already).
It amuses me how many of you are members of so many gaming forums. I'm a member here and on XboxLive.com and STEAM but... well that's it...
I've never posted in steam. I'm a member of the OfficialNintendoMagazine forums, although the quality in discussion has declined severely over the past few years. Most of the more mature members jumped ship to the PS360. I only really go there to rant nowadays. The funny thing is, only about 5% of people there still buy the magazine.
To recap: I'm a member there, here and on Kotaku, but thats it for me. Oh and i guess My PSN account counts as a login on the PSN forums.
So I guess this place is already a cut above the rest even as it sits with few posts splattered here and there...
"Splattered here and there..."
I think almost every worthwhile, mainline thread (as in not asking the same question for the 80th time, not a forum game, not a "what is your favorite X," and for obvious reasons, not a "what will happen next month" thread) has at least one post by a TTGer, usually more.

I'm glad my wording amused you. I specifically tried to use some... colorful terminology for the explanation ^_^
I acctually think most of hte forum games have atleast 1 TTG post in them too... Though I do feel there should be a point where information is repeated (something like 'if it drops off the first page of the forums') because there are newbies who dont think to search and may not know any different.

You probably only think that because you're still assuming that Sailorcuteness is female...
oh crap I missed her.. I mean his... post!

Definitely not me. The Joystiq community is way too volatile and fanboy-centric for my tastes.

heh I've never posted on STEAM's forums, I'm just a member. XBL forums I've only posted "techsupport" style questions.
I take it back, I *am* a member of the Goozex forums, where I asked if anyone could reccomend a good JRPG...
I dont really discuss gaming much 'cept with my mate it seems... other than random questions here or there about a genre or game...
