WOO!

As of today, TUESday, we are experimenting with a new way to get people involved with Telltale. As of right now, we have a mini-contest going on Twitter and Facebook to write a new slogan for Max's presidency, and in upcoming weeks we might be rolling out even more ways to make Tuesday less 'blah'.

Participate! And let us know what you think!

Neat! Nice initiative, I'm looking forward to reading the entries.
If I feel inspired I might even contribute.

I love Telltale! I like Tuesdays! Combine them and... WOW!
  • edited January 2010
I contributed five, but kept them in the same post. Is that OK, or do should I just randomly pick the one you guys will decide is awesome?

(Disclaimer: Nah, mine suck. This was fun, though. Forcing us to be creative and all that. I'm happy this kind of thing is happening.)

Actually, it was nice that you put them in the same post. I dig it.

    I tweetified my slogan.

I expect the prizes are done similarly to this:

Ah, then you must train yourself, to the sucker punch, and focus on it's power it will make you a much stronger person.

Does this mean I get a sucker punch?
  • edited January 2010
I get a sucker punch too.

Mine was "An unstable candidate for unstable times"
  • edited January 2010
mine was "Why Vote for the lesser of two evils?"
  • edited January 2010
Mine was part of my weird idea that Max dislikes Ronald Reagen, which I used in the original draft of my Halloween Story, which at that time was a screenplay.

'The most violent, despicable, pure evil president since Ronald Reagen'
  • edited January 2010
Mine was somewhere along the lines of. Brutal and violent.
  • edited January 2010
    W00t! I won one. :D

Mine was "Max wants YOU to want Max."

Did you, by any chance, get that line from the Cheap Trick song?

Nope. It was completely random actually.

I got a few similar to this and I loved them, but I didn't want people to fuss about who submitted it first. Sorrrrrry!

I also loved "Famine for the Soul."

Also your name throws me for a loop. Micheal? That's like a deliberate misspelling!

Not familiar with modern names? :P Not saying anything about Micheal specifically of course, but "deliberate misspellings" is an accurate way to describe how many parents chose names for their kids nowadays.
(Or sometimes "what's the weirdest way I can spell that while still conceivably have it sound like a common name?")

But very rarely would I accuse someone's name of being a typo.
  • edited January 2010
That's why I say I wasn't talking about him specifically. Well, the "typo" possibility, but also the "it's foreign" possibility (you never know on the Internet) or even "it's a private joke".

I was just reacting to the phrase "deliberate misspelling".

Mine was the glue the sticky note to friday. I am honestly surprised that one won.
  • edited January 2010
Ah, I lost. And deservingly so.

Hmm, maybe I'll feel inspired next week. Bring on Tuesday!

No, actually everyone else misspelled their names. Micheal is the correct spelling. :p

(Or my name is just a deliberate misspelling. Oh the mystery, oh the intrigue.)

    Honestly, I couldn't stop laughing.

Since I'm the only one judging, I guess you won it.

I still think it's funny. Am I crazy? Whatever. You won a thing.
  • edited January 2010
I was thinking of entering, but I probably would've come up with a line that was already in the game.
  • edited January 2010
I'll see what next weeks one is, and see if..I AM THE LAW! Wow...where did that come from.

Like I said I'll see about entering next week too.
