My point was that, at least according to Wikipedia, [it seems like] they made LSL7 more dirtier to respond to fan complaints, not to upset anyone (which is what you seemed to imply they were doing).
Larry 7 isn't all that dirtier.
They just included some easter eggs, which are near impossible to find if you don't look 'm up on the internet.
One of 'm actually shows Larry having sex, but you can only see it if you have all 1000 points, seen all the other easter eggs and collected all 32 "where's dildo's."
Larry 3 even shows some full frontal boobage in the first scene!

Unless you know how to fiddle around the game's video cutscene system.
By the way, there was a similar topic half a year ago. Al Lowe said that he would wait and look at the sales. And the TMI series were a great financial success, so perhaps it can be possible.
S&M2 and ToMI were filled with so many hidden dirty jokes, it made me feel TT are ready for such a game. They NEED Larry!!!
Some old adventure games still get new sequels today. Take Simon The Sorcerer for example: the 4th and 5th games came out, and they both were as good as LSL:BoB. Main reason: the original creator (Simon Woodruff in that case) was out of the project.
Now, take Gobliiins for example. Gobliiins 4 was out not long ago... It was "meh" cuz the badget was kinda low. But the game was made by the original creator (Pierre Gilhodes), and felt like the original games, it had the same touch! I played Gobliiins 4 to the end and really enjoyed it. Although it was cheap 3d, it felt like Goblins 3 and Woodruff for me.
Simon the Sorcerer 4 on the other hand was horrible. Took me more than a year to finish it, cuz I didn't really enjoyed playing. I tried the 5th game, but gave up after just a few minutes of playing. No original voice actors for the english version, no original director and creator...
What made TT's games so awesome was the original creators invloved!
S&M had Steve Purcell and ToMI had Dominic and Ron.
As long as Al Lowe is invloved (creator/director), Jan Rabson (as Larry) and Neil Ross (as the Narrator), the game would be perfect.
I'm sure TT can do this better than anyone else!
(also, I wonder how many people voted LSL in the "after-ToMI-poll"...)
I think it sounds like it would've been pretty awesome.
You could have Larry almost scoring with a girl just to have her turn into a horrible alien all of a sudden. The narrator would've had a field day!
"Well, at least in space no one can hear you scream, eh Larry..."

I think Telltale could definitely do Larry justice... and I'm certain Al Lowe would be willing to be involved, having read his website recently. Check out his website sometime. IT HAS THE FREDDY PHARKAS SONG!
I'd buy a Telltale LSL game in a heartbeat, but I think Roger Wilco and Space Quest would be an even better fit for them.
Appearantly, not Telltale Games, but Replay Games + Al Lowe = A lovestory!
Replay Games, with it's founder and CEO Paul Trowe, have bought the rights to Leisure Suit Larry, and are making remakes of the original 7... 6... whatever games!
They are making a remake for the remake of the first game actually (which was actually a remake of a different game.... )... Then if that does well they talked about doing the others.. and maybe new games.

Haha. Yea, the only thing that bugs me is that I've already played this game in 3 different forms at least a dozen times total. LSL2 and 3 will be much more exciting to see upgrades of, they have the most to gain graphically and have more diverse and interesting content. Hopefully we make it that far.
I never played Leisure Suit Larry 1 & 2 that much. 1 I never got into, because I died several times in the first scene and 2 had this aweful copy protection I could never get through. I did play 3, 5, 6 and 7 a lot, so I'm actually very excited about playing the remake, although I think I'd rather play the original first.

Check out Larry in his original glory!

What might have been: Al Lowe's plans for next Leisure Suit Larry game

So, the women 'uses' Larry to create an army of human-like aliens? And Larry must stop them?
Isn't that the exact opposite of what Larry's always trying to accomplish?

Haha! That sounds exactly like what he would say!
Yeah he is. He's very down to earth.
He's a nice guy, always joking.
Let's make a seperate thread for it!
It's a forum after all.

And I'd buy an LSL game in a heartbeat, regardless of the genre, if Al Lowe was doing it.
