Heather Logas Almost there!

edited February 2010 in General Chat
Hey guys, I know I already posted about Heather Logas, former Telltale designer who worked on Sam and Max seasons 1 and 2, and her trying to raise money through kickstarter to make a text adventure, but I just felt like I had to post again. She's 82% of the way there and has just 17 hours left to raise the rest of the money. She's come so close in just the last couple of weeks, I just urge you to check her project out. I realize money's tight for a lot of people, and it's "just" a text adventure, but just $7 gets you a copy of the game when it's released. Why not at least check it out?

Over 96% there now... 10 hours to go and she only needs another $315!

Based on the stuff Heather has worked on already, I'd really like this game to see the light of day.

EDIT: While I was typing, it jumped to 97.7%, only $190 to go. :)

You'd think an adult would be able to fund their own adventure game...

But anyway. Those are just pledges. I'd be surprised if all of them were real.

So what has she made in the past? I've honestly never heard of her.

    You try it sometime.

The way kickstarter works is that the pledges are automatically charged to the pledger's card if funding is complete on the last day. So, they become real in just a few hours.

Heather was a designer here at Telltale on Bone 1 and 2, the first two Sam & Max seasons, and pre-production on Wallace & Gromit.

The power of Google compels you to compel it.

Edit: Jake beat me to it by a second.

I know it's complete but I had to throw 7 dollars, you have to support peoples dreams. In the end they will support yours.

Yay! Way to go everybody and Heather! She not only met her goal, she made 1500 over :) Looks like we'll be getting some nice art to go with our text, and a launch party (see puzzlebox, not you have to transfer to San Francisco, you're already invited to a party :p )

She actually needed the money so that she could afford to be unemployed while she made the game. AFAIK, none of the money is going into production.

I'm happy her funding came through, and was especially excited by how it spiked on the last day. She must be feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Hey Emily, are you the Emily who came up with the "official" name, or was that some other Emily?
