I think these SBCG4AP ads are overdoing it. I mean, I thought four was enough, but there is a new one every two posts. And not to complain, but they aren't exactly top-notch quality if you catch my drift.

There are many Strong Bad posters, but most of them are made by the same person. And not to come off as rude, but you probably shouldn't share derogatory remarks towards someone's work until you have posted something at the very least. I do think the contest should have some sort of limit to the amount of entries per person though. 5 perhaps?

This is beautiful, and easily my favorite. I can rest easy knowing that the best entry will be for the best series.

You could use GIMP. You might not know how to use it as well, but at least you would have it :D

    Veni Vidi Vici

    I came, I saw, I conquered

Carpe Malus and Carpe Mallum I 'm not sure though

First of all, I would like to point out that I did not make all of these. They were created by Strong Bad's Cool Game for attractive People: For Freaking Mac! a non-profit organization dedicated to making sure that Strong Bad wins this particular election. Yes, I am the leader of this group, as well as being the only one on the TellTale Forums. However, I didn't make all of them.

Carpe Diem means "seize the day", doesn't it? So would that mean "Seize Evil"?

Also, the drawings are from Sam and Max Hit the Road. It's the icons to walk, look at and use.
Would make less sense if you're not aware of that fact.

Carpe Malus: Seize the Apple. Carpe Malum: Seize the Evil.

People should really learn more Latin and Greek phrases. It's very enriching.

    How profound!

I am sorry then. But, the prize is one episode code, so... good luck dividing that up.

Also, to all of you who keep complaining about my organization, I would like to quote Max, of the famous Sam & Max himself:
"You call it over-zealous, I call it 'thorough.'"

    Hi,

I'd like to do some more work on this, but I'll post it now in case I don't get a chance later.

Also, the poster propaganda explains how Monkey Island got the first Mac update. Because when there's only one candidate, there's only...

I'VE NEVER PLAYED SAM AND MAX

    That explains a lot. :P
  • edited February 2010
Since I made that post, I have played it. So there!

By the way, user "lombre" is a member of SBCG4AP: For Freaking Mac! Just so's you know (since he forgot to PUT THE LOGO ON!)

I thought Wallace and Gromit were underepresented in this thread, so here's one for them I made on paint.

    Attachment not found.

It's a pity that I am no longer at school, this would win the "clearly no adult supervision" award hands down!

The text in the ad is epic win, I may say.

it's kinda true, but it also sounds better than TMI
  • edited February 2010
I'm making a W&G one because there aren't enough here, and best of all, I'm doing mine just like Wallace does his inventions....by hand!
  • edited February 2010
W&G sounds better than S&M, which sounds better than TMI, it's true. But if we're going for the battle of the acronyms, I think that SBCG4AP is going to win, boxing gloves down!

In my self defense, i'd say the idea is good. But, been honest, the idea is not mine, is Icedhope's. So, blame the execution. (I'm sorry!)
