Yeah, I'm still stunned that the card is only $100 (USD), and it's more or less equivalent to an 8800 GTX. Not only that, but it draws so little power and creates so little heat that you can overclock the living daylights out of it without extra cooling.

At the risk of sounding like a shill for ATi, I highly recommend giving it a look for anybody who needs a cheap yet powerful card. It'll even max out GTAIV (probably the most demanding PC game out right now), if you don't mind it being a bit jerky.

I actually went and read a review (it's Saturday night and my dentist said I can't drink, i've nothing better to do!!) and I think you've sold me on it I think...you corporate whore :p

Hahaha, yeah, I cringed when I read over my post there. Then again, it's my duty as a gamer to alert people when I've made such an awesome discovery. :p

    Good news, everyone!

I picked up Halo Legends, the DVD of short anime episodes based around the Halo series ala the Animatrix, from a Charity Shop for... 75p.

    75p. That's around $1.20.

    Bargain!

    Good news everyone!

    My country is hilarious. Really.

Actual Twitts from the official twitters accounts of the organizations roughly translated:

    Chilean Red Cross:
    - Do not send clothes anymore! We are full already! We need Cleaning Stuff!
    - I repeat, Do not send clothes anymore

That our switch. The first thing someone donate is winter clothes and food. ALWAYS. And, oh

    - We recieve bottled water
    - We don't need anymore bottled water, thanks everyone

    Hospital Militar (Army Hospital)
    - We don't need Blood Donors for the campaign hospitals in the south. We are full, come tomorrow, thanks

I can't donate blood because I'm in Stgo and I don't know where to go. But, with twitts like this, I'll wait to the Saturday. There's the other stuff about the wait for donate, which was in average about of 5 hours.

Un Techo para Chile (A Ceiling for Chile, an organization dedicated to build little houses for people who don't have one, while they wait for a solution for an actual house)
    - We need volunteers for go to the south and build emergency houses, please sign here
    - We don't need any more volunteers for the moment, thanks a lot
    - Due demand, we open the call again
    - We close the call, please all the new volunteers stay at home until we call them.

There's also some people from Arica who want to come to help and they have no idea how.

I was laughing the whole day with those twitts. And we already have Teleton for the Friday. My country can be so lame and so awesome all at the same time...

I love your name for people who post on Twitter. 'Twitts'. Brilliant.

I think she meant tweets. As in, the messages, not the people.

    Bargain!
Speaking of bargains, Newegg is selling the CSI Super Pack (4 games, including the first two that Telltale made) for $5.99 with free shipping. They're sold out at the moment, but I snagged a copy yesterday when stock briefly reappeared. Score!

So the only Telltale game I don't own is CSI: Deadly Intent. Never had any interest in CSI, but I can't say no to that price.

    Good news, everyone!

I read online that it's pretty much impossible to get your old Nintendo 64 to work on an HDTV as HDTV's nowadays aren't made to work with old systems, and probably can't read them. Well, I told the internet to shut it with those negative waves, and tried it anyway.

I had no idea where to connect the video/audio cable to the TV at. So I just tried random sockets on the DVD player and on the cables connected to the TV, hoping one would work. And finally after experimenting for two hours, it did! My Nintendo 64 has life again! :D

Paper Mario looks gorgeous in high-def!

    Good news, everyone!

I'm all packed to go on my holiday to Vegas on Saturday! And my copy of SBCG4AP and my Black Wii MotionPlus controller arrived today! And I just watched the Jurassic Park RiffTrax with (weird) Al Yankovic! And I had an absolutely delicious lunch! And the cat is snoozing in my room!

    Yay!

If you have a gamecube, you can use the scart lead that came with that, it fits just fine, and it works! Plus it's less hassle.

Good news, everyone! Something happened to me that entirely does not concern any of you, and therefore its value of goodness is mine and mine only!

Actually, the thing happening isn't that good, but its goodness is still all mine.

Okay, I found an unwrapped chocolate bar, and I threw it away because it might carry diseases.

But the news' goodness is still ALL MINE.

It's news that anyone at telltale loves their job, It probably just got better with Majus there.

His voice is hypnotic. hearing "Oh look Air, I guess I am able to breathe" can put me in a trance.
