System of a Down are totally normal compared to Nuclear Rabbit.

Once I got like 3 versions of Rainbow Connection in my MP3 player. But I guess the weirdest one was "Count Von Count's Continuous Country Cookin' Downhome Diner" or "Megabaet" (I think) which was one of the Lazy Town's Songs but in Icelandic.

    that walkthrough would be like;

"Ok, so you see the bone? Well, of course not, but there's a bone there. Now that goes in your inventory. Remember that, because I'm not saying it again..."

That sounds really fun! I think I may record myself playing through SMI now. :D

    The link doesn't work here...

Metallica, Thin Lizzy (I'm also not so much into the guitar intro but the rest is cool), Jim Brown (this one is creepy :O).

weird, it works fine over here...
Just type it in manually then, and add "dubliners", you should find it.

The elvis imitating version is pretty fun, even if i'm not a huge fan ATALL of the arrangement ;)

It's a thing with youtube, Sony Music and Germany. No songs by SonyMusic cannot be watched over here.

Well in that case, the weirdest thing on my mp3 player is its crank.

    What a cranky mp3 player.

I have the Sam and Max soundtrack from my copy of Sam and Max Season 1: 20th anerversiry editon, now it's on my MP4.

My iPod has this. Not just the video, the actual song, taken from the episode "Mime For A Change". I remember the episode, because it's the best Powerpuff Girls episode ever, simply because of the song.

Dont think anyone outside of Australia knows them but I have a Lano & Woodley album on my iPod

Weirdest (and the scariest, most evil sounding music in existance) I have is Monoliths & Dimensions by Sunn 0))). It's horrible but utterly compelling.

Just remembered something that trumps my earlier post: "Abuse: Parts 1 & 2" by Marilyn Manson. Not songs, just backstage recordings of fans "confessing" their pasts to the band. Disturbing stuff.

Ah, one of the greatest comedy duos ever! It's always a bonus when the comedy channel decides to play one of their old episodes...

I got a song called "Blue Hawaii" from this dude, which I would link to but he's taken it down completely after several re-uploads for some reason. You can get the general idea from listening to any of his songs though. My friends and I kind of stumbled on to this guy one day randomly and his strange music videos just became an inside joke with us. "Blue Hawaii" was our favorite because the song was strangely catchy and the video was the most hilariously weird out of all of them.

Also Birthday Cake. Thanks, Jet Set Radio Future!

    Yaaaaaay!! Lovelovelovelovelove. :D

Quite a few of their lines have become embedded in the sibling shorthand between me and my brothers, particularly "serious business" and "don't [do X]" from Starquest.

I remembered because I was just listening to it, I have the song from this ad in my player. Got it as a tiny CD in a cappuccino box yeaaars ago. It was neat.
  • edited June 2010
Aww, it's a pretty neat music video though.

Weirdest is probably the music from Quake one I have... It's all done by Trent Reznor/NIN but I think everyone pretty much knows that already..

If anyone knows him I have all the Matt Tilley "Gotcha" Call CD's

the only real weird thing on my iPod is the 'music' I've attempted to create.

A pirate I was meant to be (CMI), Still Alive (Portal), the main themes from all three Runaway games...

Ah man thats such a weird but good song

    ...Still Alive (Portal)...

see, I have that too but I don't count that as weird!

What is it about it that prompts the apostrophes?
  • edited June 2010
nothing really, just the usual putting down my own work.
  • edited June 2010
Ah, okay. Just out of interest (sorry, this is more conversation than discussion), what sort of music do you make?

I have 'Le Spleen' on mine... Runaway has some good music.

I can't deny that I quite enjoyed the main theme from the first game. But the singing in it sounds sort of... half-hearted, I guess. Like she's not committed to actually singing the song. I dunno, I might be the only one that thinks this.

I would classify it as electronic dance music. Haven't done much new stuff recently, so here's one of the first tracks I made: Into The Music.

I don't have anything that weird on my iPod.
a song in Swedish on it
[music from the] Sonic the Hedgehog games, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

Well I have a lot of Weird Al on my ipod
    japanese anime, monkey island
    the Sam and Max soundtrack
A pirate I was meant to be (CMI), Still Alive (Portal)
I have all that stuff, though.

I like to listen to the same songs over and over during a period of time for nostalgia purposes, though I've been bad about it over the past few years, and at the moment it's the Phineas and Ferb soundtrack, which I guess is a bit weird. I could listen to Busted and You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart all day.

Not especially weird music, but I just found the soundtrack to the original three Star Wars movies. The weird part is that I have no memory of putting it on my iPod. It just appeared, like magic!
  • edited June 2010
Besides the music from games, other "weirdnesses" that can be found in my mp3 collection are:
All the Academy Award (Oscar) winners for best song
All the Goya (Spanish equivalent to the Oscars) winners for best song
All the Eurovision Song Contest winners
All the songs from Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest (winners or not)
All the official songs from the Spanish Cycling Tour
All the songs used in the slow motion repeat of the TV transmissions of the Running of the Bulls from the Sanfermines of Pamplona
