Don't worry, I'll be the new intern. I've got pretty big boots to fill (I'm to understand she was a dinosaur?), but I can do the job pretty well.
I'm not promising that I won't lie gratuitously to the fans, though. Also, I demand my first payment in advance. That demand still stands if I don't get (or have any real desire of getting) the job. By reading this post, you agree to the above terms.
Don't be silly, dinosaurs don't wear shoes.
I've already said this, but it's awesome news and congratulations to you Nika.
There was a film I used to like in the 80s, I was sure it was called Dinosaurs but I can't find it. Anyway, the theme at the beginning went "Diiiiiiinosaurs, diiiiiiiinosaurs.... boom chakalakala boom chakalakala".
People sometimes move on to other career opportunities. It's the way of things. Telltale has had a lot of talented people come and go throughout the past couple years.
Good things don't always stay the same, they change. It's sort of like good bands that lose key members. Some of those bands maintain their brilliance, while some fall to pieces and just become a shadow of what they once were. I just hope that Telltale can maintain their brilliance and awesomeness, which I am sure they will.
Yes, it's sad that Nik and David have left their positions at Telltale, but I'm sure we'll still see them on the forums from time to time, if not more frequently perhaps - as we can see, Nikki's still posting here (in this thread, anyway) and David concluded his goodbye post with "see you around", so I'm sure we'll still see them. They might not be officially part of Telltale Games anymore, but they'll always be considered as Telltale employees.
And while it's also a bummer that we'll no longer see Chuck's writing in another Telltale episode, we will no doubt see his writing in many other game's that will probably be published through a company of his own (maybe, if all goes well for him). It's not as though any of them are dying, we'll still see them and hear from them in one way or another - whether it's in the Telltale forums or elsewhere.
@Hayden -- I wouldn't conclude that we won't see Chuck's writing in Telltale games in the future. He contributed to Telltale writing before joining full time (notably Abe Lincoln Must Die), and may very well in the future.
Also important to note, there are a good many Telltale folk that read these forums and post periodically. While some of the more consistent Telltale posters are moving on, you'll continue to see Telltalers here.
Now that she's no longer employed by Telltale I wonder if she'd be in a position where leaking some footage of Jurassic Park is possible.

Unless Telltale are monumentally huge morons (They aren't), they had her sign a non-disclosure agreement that continues beyond her employment/internship with Telltale.

I do hope to see a new community coordinator 'round these parts, though I know it requires patience until the perfect person comes along. Having such a dedicated presence is really integral to the fan experience.
And fans, I'm sure you will all be welcoming and supportive of them, y'hear? I got my eye on you!

I know better than to get on a dinosaur's bad side, so heck yeah. And I henceforth lay the blame of whatever damage is incurred on the next intern's psyche at the feet of GuruGuru214. As well as all members of Team Argyle, natch.
Aannnd I'm late for the party, but I was worried about Nikasaur for awhile there too, so it's good to see you're well. Congrats, thanks for the awesome-tastic community support and interaction during your internship at Telltale, and good luck at Riot Games! (And I hope you have fun as you return to our humble fan-cum-rabble-rouser fold. )

Can you do that anyway, even if they don't complain?
(that's what I get for not being as active anymore)
Anyhoo, I'll miss nikasaur too.
(even though I'm quite sure she doesn't even know who the crap I am.)

I WANNA BE THE NEW INTERN!  :guybrush: :winslow:
You're hired!
Don't be silly, dinosaurs don't wear shoes.

Do too!!!
I did watch that show
I'm pretty sure you're that dude.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
You guys are making me all fuzzy and .
This could be a big discovery, maybe dinosaurs acquired feathers because others gave them that fuzzy feeling.
Does anyone remember it / know what it is?
I love everything about this.
Oooooh yes, I've found it It's actually the theme of a cartoon within the film that has stuck in my mind, but is as good as I remember!

5:50 for the awesome song
You've evolved, Pokemon style!
What? NIKASAUR is evolving!
Your NIKASAUR evolved into NIKOPTERYX!
Chuck, Nik, David.....

I don't think freaky dinosaur man hybrids count as "dinosaurs wearing shoes".
I think you're way too picky.
Perhaps not the best title for these conversations, eh?

Wait, the new web person hasn't shown up yet, right? ANARCHY!
Wait, there's still Jake. He's been so quiet I forgot about him. Curses.
I vote that in the meantime, TREASURE CRAB takes the throne!
I eagerly await Irishmile's reply to this post.
on first glance, i thought that WAS Irishmile

np: Bonobo - Black Sands (Black Sands)
If anyone were going to steal my credit card, I'd be honored if it were Treasure Crab.
Oh snap
