No. Another thing to remember about these Special Editions is that LucasArts aimed to get the same cast back from The Curse of Monkey Island, they mentioned this is one of the Making Of videos for the first game, so I'm guessing they at least want this trilogy part of the series to remain in continuity with the characters and their voices.
Which is why I'm impressed they have got Neil Ross back! For a character who was a small part in Curse, Neil must have to do some remembering on how to do that voice again, when I think of Neil these days I just get an image and hear his voice from Metal Gear Solid 3 as Colonel Volgin.
