1) I think i read somewhere on the internet about the upcoming Sam&Max season. I knew that they were formed by certain former LucasArts fellows and that they did the poker game and the Bone adventures already but i wasn't a Bone fan those days and the reviews about the Bone games were not this good here. So it needed the Sam&Max announcement to get me to this place.
2) No demo needed, i directly bought the season. In most cases you don't need demos. After all those years you can feel it before if a games is right for you or not.
3) Sam&Max Season 1. I still love the scene in front of the cinema with the ape and the picture of the black hole. I also imagine that we got the crystals on the moon only because i love almost everything about The DIG and for sure was talking about the life crystals as well. If i'm wrong, please don't disclose my illusion.
4) My love for good adventures (please note: my love for very good adventures would even be stronger), specific people and the TTG site has a certain mood i like.
I first encountered Telltale Games on September 16, 2005, apparently a day or two after they press-released that they were going to create a new Sam & Max game, following LucasArts' idiotic move. I located the date because I re-posted the release on another forum.
2.First Demo?
I have not yet played a demo.
3.First Game Purchase?
Sam & Max Season 1, of course! I was on dialup at the time, so I waited for the DVD release before actually buying it.
4.What made you stay here?
More Sam & Max! My forums join date was some time in 2008, and I don't remember why I joined the forums at that point (or why I hadn't earlier, probably something to do with dialup).
1. When I saw the ad on homestarrunner.com for SBCG4AP, I was leaving for Phuket and thought I could snag it there on a fake Wii disc (I didn't know what was meant by WiiWare at the time) and when I couldn't find it, I did some research and found out it was "downloaded over my Wii via an internet-style connection", so I got all the episodes on Wii. When the time came for Dangeresque 3, I was sick of having 2-3 month gaps between the episodes, so I googled it and
2. downloaded the demo of SBCG4AP Ep 4, Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective. Then, in early to mid 2009, I went and bought (in this order),
3. SBCG4AP, the Sam & Max Hardcover Special (with seasons 1 & 2 included), Monkey Island, Wallace and Gromit, Puzzle Agent. CSI is of no interest to me, and all the other games I have (so far) gotten through codes and coupons, except for Texas Hold'em.
4. I keep coming back because the games are awesome, funny, well made, frequent, cheap, the forum community is a hoot, and the stuff in the store is awesome. Unfortunately I've now run out of stuff in the store to buy, so I NEED MOAR MERCHANDISE RRRRAAAARRGHH!!
1.How did you get here?
I heard there was to be a new Wallace & Gromit game coming soon. So, I kept an eye on it and bought it when it came out. I liked that, so I waited for the next few episodes. I then read a review for TOMI on Wiiware, so I thought, why not? After buying episode one of TOMI, I looked online about it, and found this site.
2.First Demo?
Wallace & Gromit: Episode 1 on XBLA.
3.First Game Purchase?
Wallace & Gromit Episode 1 on XBLA, TOMI Episode 1 on Wiiware and The Devil's Playhouse on PC.
4.What made you stay here?
The games, (after I joined and started posting in the forums) the community, and the staff. The people who work here are nice and helpful, they make really awesome games etc. Infact, they are one of my favourite game companies, possibly my absolute favourite! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have found out about Sam & Max and Strong Bad!
Finally, we're on the same page!
Every time I see one of that guy's posts, I want to kick something.
And what's with that stupid avatar of his?
Loser is a word I would use to describe him.
I like to try and hide insults toward him in my posts.
Kangaroos have absolutely nothing to do with what I'm talking about.
So...yeah...
*sob* i get it im sorry. *sob*:(:(
Or was it that other guy. I HATE HIM:mad::mad:
It all started when the Sam & Max Freelance Police game was canceled...
2.First Demo?
Bone Out from Boneville.
3.First Game Purchase?
Sam & Max Season One (2-disc, boxed (with poster) Adventure Company retail release)
4.What made you stay here?
This is both an answer to this question and my story so I'll just tell it. After Bone came out the demo didn't grab me as much as I had hoped it would. I waited until they finally grabbed Sam & Max (because they were talking about doing Sam & Max before Telltale even started). I finally tried the demo of Culture Shock when it came out and I thought it was great. Eventually I bought it for the PC and later the Wii. I started on the PC version and then finished it on the Wii version. I still didn't pay much attention to the website, though, or really look at Telltale as an impressive game developer worthy of my buying most everything they make. Time passed and SBCG4AP was announced as was S&M Season Two. Then Wallace & Grommit. It wasn't until Tales of Monkey Island was announced that I turned my full undivided attention to Telltale. I didn't just join the forums that day, I became an active fan of Telltale's products. I now own everything by Telltale except the Bones, SBCG4AP Episode 4, and The Devil's Playhouse. But I plan on acquiring them...
1.How did you get here?
Watched this guy do a lets play of Tales of Monkey Island and I just had to have the game, so I did a google search and Telltalle Games was the first hit.
2.First Demo?
Non.
3.First Game Purchase?
Tales of Monkey Island and I never regret it, and it also lead me to get all 3 seasons of Sam & Max.
And later I bought Monkey Island 1 and 2, and I was a MI fan for good.
4.What made you stay here?
Hoping of Tales Season 2, and maybe some other cool games. The nice people at the forums and the awesome merchandise.

I saw a retail copy of Sam and Max season 1 at my local ebgames, and searched it up, which then led me to Telltale's site.
2. First demo?
I think it was "Culture Chock"
3. First game purchase?
Tales of Monkey Island!
4. What made you stay here?
Telltale's awesome products, but mainly the kind people here on the forum. You guys really are the best.
