I did a new Animation!

edited August 2010 in General Chat
That's right! A new one. And I'm pretty sure I did learn almost NOTHING out of the first one. Or at least nothing that shows.

Anyway, I spended almost all my Winter Vacation (Because I'm freezing down here!*) working on this instead of doing Sam and Max Fan Art and learning javascript. Please forgive me.

Also, the message to Telltale: Please don't sue me! You know I love you!

Anyway, it's called "Earthquake" because I'm that original. And I just have to make it. I hope you like it.

* Yes, yes, I know South is just a way to point out stuff on earth and not really "down". But I like to say that for some reason.

Woooooh, creepy! Excellent choice of music. I was actually scared for the characters...

I couldn't really understand what I was seeing, because the backgrounds are so weirdly drawn and whatnot and so different from the characters, and there was also shots that were only for one second so I couldn't really understand where other people really were.

AKA, I don't really like the glossy-one color style.

It's really nice, and very moving. And not just because the image is shakig so much.
    (Get it? "Moving"? Hahahaha!)

Great job, Ginny! Especially when I got to the comments and got the "based on a true story" type vibe....

(If real earthquakes had a soundtrack like that, they'd be a lot more fun to live through! Someone needs to invent a seismograph/MP3 selector device.)

Earthquakes, normally, aren't longer than 1 minute. But, apparently, the stronger the earthquake the longer is (I guess). The February 28th Earthquake was about 5 minutes long!

In fact yes, except with my inhability of draw real people they don't look like in the flash. But everything happened, including the part I tried to call using the cellphone just to discover the lines were already collapsed. Of course some parts happened differently; The part of the glasses over the Shelf in fact was discovered by my dad the morning after. And the people which appears in flashes are cousins, an aunt and some friends.

Alright, I'm going to throw in some critique among this undying praise. Around 1:10 in the video, some weird thick dots show up on certain spots of characters. I suggest making sure unsightly markers like that aren't on a completely finished product from now on.

And critics are very welcome, indeed.
