I loved the boobs thread. Fought so hard to keep it alive... But I only have two breasts.

I remember now how you are supposed to say Lego blocks/bricks (and capitalise it, but obviously I'd rather type this parenthesis instead. Selective laziness). Same with Duplo. But I've always said "legos" and "duplos" (and playmobils).

You realise the Lego games are made by TT Games, not TTG right.
Working for the wrong company? :p

Your valiant efforts were appreciated by all. Do not mourn the boobs thread's passing, but rejoice in it having been.

Has anyone brought up 'fingerprints' from Animaniacs yet? Classic 90's cartoon innuendo. Either that or Rocko's Modern Life. Nostalgia overload.

Or Ren and Stimpy. That show was not meant for children.

Can you build a Big Daddy fighting Vladimir Lenin for the love of Samus Aran? Also, space lasers.

Somebody did make a Sam & Max™ LEGO® fan art for a Halloween contest some time ago:

There used to be pictures, I thought. TELLTALE GAMES® staff, do those pictures still exist?

    Somebody!? Humph!

Here's an entry for another site/contest from a few years back (http://www.fbtb.net). It was to make a Star Wars themed comic strip out of LEGO.

I like the use of Harry Potter as Specs. How'd you pull off the Sam and Max minifigs?
  • edited August 2010
Sam was a LEGO werewolf head with a LEGO hat balanced on top, Max a Hungry Hippo ball with plasticine ears and stickers for the face details.
  • edited August 2010
Awesome. I need more Legos. Mine are almost all Freestyle, Pirates, Bionicle, and some Harry Potter. Not nearly enough to do something that awesome with.

    Ah, LEGOs...

I remember hoarding all the clear LEGOs from my brother so that I could build my epic space station. He wasn't very happy about that. :D

I think they got rid of my favorite panel though. They might even be revising them, but there used to be a lego bangin' a sheep in Genesis somewhere.

I like how the .ru cements the scam. Well done, Fealiks. Also, you ruined all characters named Felix for me because I am preoccupied with the spelling F-E-A-L-I-K-S. Well done!

Bionicles. Oh the memories. I remember when I could actually follow the storyline behind those things, but then it just stretched on and they kept making new ones. But still, I am rather fond of my entire toybox devoted to those things. What Bionicles do they have out now, anyways? Maybe I should pick one up and relive the good times.

And Welcome to this crazy online world, Alan. Good to have you.

    Hello everyone!

I figured I'd finally get around to seeing just where it is my wife, Avistew, spends all her time. I'm usually pretty busy at work, but I'll try to stop by as much as I can.

Welcome! One question: Have you actually played any Telltale games?

I'm up to date on Sam and Max, but I haven't played Tales of Monkey Island yet despite having the DVD. Work has been insane lately so I haven't taken the time for it yet, as much as I've been a fan of the series since the original.

No idea. I started collecting with the Toa Mata (summer 2001), and my last set was the Toa Hordika (summer 2005). I have all the canister sets and a few of the bigger sets from that period. I'd still like to pick up the rest of the Toa sets (the Inika from summer '06, the Mahri from summer '07, Phantoka/Mistika from '08, and maybe the Glatorian Legends from last year or the Bionicle Stars from this year), but I don't think I'd have room. As it is, I have a large tub and two boxes full of Bionicles sitting in the corner of my room because I have nowhere to put them.

Okay, I lied. Since I went to Wikipedia to figure out which sets I still want, I know exactly what's out now. Bionicle Stars, which appears to be special edition re-releases of certain characters from old sets. Looks like Tahu from the Toa Mata, Gresh from Glatorian, a modified Takanuva from the Toa Nuva, Skrall from Glatorian, a new Piraka called Nektann, and a new yellow-colored Rahkshi. First canister set I've ever seen where all six models were totally different creatures.

The newest Bionicle I have is a Toa Hordika. Their little flying things were/are so awesome. But my all-time favorites are the Bohrok and the Rahkshi. So I'm gonna have to get in on this Bionicle Stars action. Yellow Rahkshi = Serious Shit.

He probably helped to take at least half the photographs. And I'd imagine pictures are rather boring when you've got the real thing in 3D! :p

That remains one of my most favourite threads ever though - mighty fine back in its heyday.
