'Jolly Rover' should also be continued and made into a series. It's a really good adventure game, and it certainly has the potential for at least two sequels. I'd love to see it turn into a saga like Monkey Island.
Wait...I remember hearing about Other bad fur day, although it was joked as part of an april fool's joke. Some of my friends believe in it though, that it was one of the planned gamecube games that Rare was trying to do with Nintendo before they were "ruined" by mircosucks.
Anyways....I finally got a game series I want to return. Jazz Jackrabbit.

How the hell did I forget to bring up this game? Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was one of the five of my favorite games of my childhood along with Constructor, Silver, Queen the Eye and 3D Movie Maker and it's the only one out of those four I actually got good at. Also is it strange to think it's weird that the unfinished Jazz Jackrabbit 3D supports 1920x1080?
Yeah, it was called Jazz Jackrabbit 3D and according to Wikipedia it failed because no one would publish it. Then years later they made Jazz Jackrabbit on the Gameboy Advanced and while I don't own it I hear quite a few fans hate it.
Among the many games I'd like to see return, I'd especially like to see another Eternal Darkness game or another in the Myth series.
Eh, with ED Nintendo actually half owns the property with the devs, or something along those lines. And since the devs now belong to MS, it wont happen.
Nah. We need another KoTOR more. None of this Old Republic shit, either. A REAL KoTOR 3, GUISE!
On another note, I should research my dead series better. Anyone know of a real KoTOR3?
Only if they ever released a Knights of the Old Republic 2: Director's Cut with restored content. In my opinion, there is no real story to continue if they try to make a third game after the train wreck that is the second game's butchered ending.
Not so much return, but I'd love a remake of Ultima9 - This time made the way Richard Garriott had intended and not the EA gimped version...
A Gollop bros. made X-Com sequel would be pretty sweet
Dungeon Master 3?
Actually there are a ton of games series (some of which are still pretty healthy) for which I'd like to see continue - but made by the whichever guys put together the originals - & not some generic dev team who were handed the project once the IP had been bought out by a publisher.
I really hope that the Bone series will be back, although the chances are low. Did I mentioned before that this is my favourite video game series?
Anyway, if you did not do this yet, sign this petition!

When Telltale get the rights back then sure! Untill then Warner Brothers owns the rights.
Nah, no one would play either but I'd love another Rebel Assault game done in real time or modern 3D real time graphics with updated game play that's more interactive.
Joystiq does updates from time to time with it. I remember everyone being pissed at E3 that they showed off that Earth game, or whatever, instead of Beyond Good and Evil2.

Please?
Abe's Oddysee
Abe's Exodus
Munch's Oddysee
Strangers Wrath (gaiden game)
would that make the next one Munch's Exodus?
In development
There was a 4th one in development but sense the DC died, they canned the 4th one.

I’m pretty sure I read they had started on the sequel – Eurogamer or Kotaku or somewhere had a small story about it.
MDK
Earthworm Jim
Blood
Carmageddon
I think number 2 is already in production, have seen a tiny game play video and a trailer.

The only thing as cool as Rebel Assault II was...
It's been in production for a while. I think it's to be released a year or two from now.
There you go then.
