You know...that would be an amazingly entertaining movie should they make it...LOL!

Ok, so we have a thread for fan art creations involving static pictures, but what about fan videos? Does anyone have any talent in mashing up the movies to music or things of that nature?

I myself did a Mind Heist'd version of the first movie in which I took INCEPTION's (great movie, by the way) trailer music by Zack Hemsley and crafted it around the first Back to the Future movie. It's rather awesome, and probably my best work (until I set into the sequels. xD)

    Anyone else have anything cool?

the song for some reason fits and all the editing kinda makes the terrioist scene even more dramatic.

Telltale should do an april fools game like this next year :P
  • last line almost killed me!
  • edited April 2011
Yeah that was hilarious. "Why dont you make like a tree, and get out of here." (Arnold accent)
  • edited April 2011
The problem with this is, if they wanted to make a parody game like this... Both Universal AND Warner Bros. would have to agree to it. Currently, Terminator is under Warner Bros. Not that the two would mind, both of them have been around for a long time (Though, Universal's been around longer.)

And yeah, the last line was epically funny (Both tannen in BttF and Ahnold as T800 said it in their respective movies, lol.)

I love Back to the Future. But I absolutely hate it when Microsoft hires Christopher Lloyd to do a Back to the Future spoof. A bit of warning though, this might ruin all of your happiness.

After watching you can make a list of all the things wrong with this video such as the music, no 88mph, and the entire point of the presentation. And get a load of that flux capacitor!
  • edited April 2011
I actually enjoyed it far better than BTTF:TG EP2... Even though they made the flux capacitor out of folded paper.
  • edited April 2011
The flux capacitor was so hilariously bad.

As much as I love seeing Doc again, they shouldn't have subjected Lloyd to that poorly done spoof. I expected a little more effort on their part.

You deserve a medal for actually watching that.

How to ruin BTTF? Let LJN make video games based on it. :p
  • edited April 2011
I couldn't finish watching it; it was just horrible advertising. The only plus was seeing real-life Doc again.

I'm a bit miffed that they did such a bad replica of the BTTF Time Traveling DeLorean, I mean look at the exhaust vents!

Yes, we've been there. Take a look in the video thread.
  • I just saw the frighteners today. It was made in 1996 and was Michael J Fox's last live action film. Almost brought me to tears. He was surrounded by a bunch of no name actors (15 years later, none are leading actors on TV or film) and still outright MADE that film. He was such a great acting talent, it's sad to think what he could have done if not for the terrible disease.

This is one of those films where you can say would have been nothing without the lead actor. If you haven't seen and plan on it or have seen it well enough to have it entrenched in your memory, picture Kevin Costner or the Rock in the lead role and the movie tanks.

produced by Robert Zemeckis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O90DliJc6PA several outtakes of MJF shouting 'DOC"

According to IMDB it's tied for the 3rd highest rated film of Michael J Fox behind the first 2 BTTF films and tied with part III

I'm a fan of the Frighteners. It's one of the movies on my self above my head out of my large LARGE movie collection.

Don't be so down about it. He did a fantastic job, and he still had done live action. M J Fox never says he sees himself as a victim or some one to be pitied . He's very thankful for his children and his beautiful wife. He did help the movie, a lot, but I do like the script and I think he was perfect for the role.

As some one with a interest in the spiritual and as some one who has seen things that made himself faint, literally, I still love the movie, simply as movie. The guy will be dead some day, sadly, doesn't mean I'll be sad when I watch his movies. He's a terrific actor, and deserves credit for the work he's done.

He doesn't act as much anymore, that's how it is. He's a really cool guy, and accepts that and he has found other ways to live out his life, doing what he wants. He wants to have his own foundation, he wants to voice a role for BTTF the game, he wants to do TV episodes...

I think historically it's very fascinating to have a actor like him, that still performs as he does. It's inspirational and really really cool. I really like seeing him act. He was terrific in Rescue me and also in a show where he played a lawyer with a health condition.

I don't think he will be remembered poorly, but he will fascinate people, amaze people, that he still lead such a productive life. It's amazing. This game episode is just another project he takes part in. I really hope they give him a interesting role to voice.
  • I did some research apparently the frighteners is coming to blu ray this october. When it does, i'll add it to my collection.

I guess I'm just teary eyed because I saw him at the stanley cup finals a few days ago and how tough it was just to speak. I followed spin city in which he acted from 1996 to 2001 and there were subtle hints that he had a disease but he was able to hide it (for instance it affected his left hand more and he'd frequently put it in his pocket). But now all the live acting he does (which is guest appearances on shows) he has to play a character with a disease because it's too severe to hide. I love Back to the Future but that's more of an ensemble cast with Lloyd, Thompson, Wilson, Steenberger, and Glover helping carry the load. He literally carried the frighteners himself. Not a lot of actors can do so.

Guaranteed he wont be remembered poorly; he was a model celebrity in his time, never abused drugs and alcohol, never got in trouble with the law. And like you said he never plays the 'why me' card.
