If you don't agree that this is the greatest songs of its time, then you don't know the '80s.
Its so awesome!
That one Guy.. on the 30 minute music hour (dumb name for a show I know)
Let it play for a while you will not regret it.

For those with shorter attention spans here is the song by him that they used on the TV show weeds.

This Playlist site is actually pretty great.
So yeah, a mixtape-style sampling of songs. Avoid track 3 if you dislike/will get fired if you listen to the no-no potty mouth words.
EDIT: Oh god, the version of "By The Way" on that site is awful. Sorry about that, imaginary person that actually listens to other people's playlists.
Well done.

Rock N' Roll Train
Hmm the last track i remember which also is available on the net was All there is by the great Xerxes. Never heard of him? Well, if you had a life on the Amiga or in the demoscene then you know him. I love his arps, his fat synth sounds and the warm feeling he can create like no other one beside of Dr. Awesome. Such music plays some melancholic strings inside me and makes me play and hug my Northlead.
Oh, and there was this weird electronic version of China Girl. Iggy's old live versions are the best ones of this perfect song but they've removed them almost all from youtube, this one is quite okay.
What's yours? I can't open it on the iPad...
In the radio version it's "forget you", which is more to my liking for a feelgood hit. But the swearier version def flows better now that I hear it
The cool playlist site doesn't work here in norn iron But I have Spotify which is the absolute shit
Pulp - Common People

Radiohead's Jigsaw falling into place is great for driving fast, regardless of the ver sion.
They also play Friska Vilor quite often on the radio lately, arpeggio.
Billy Joel - We Didn't Start the Fire (just because it's awesome)
Bear McGreary - All Along the Watchtower (a great song used to superb effect in Battlestar Galactica)
Alistair Griffin - Just Drive (from the end credits of the BBC's coverage of the last race of the 2010 F1 season, also the singer is from my home town)
Failotron - Tristan (first heard it in Penny Arcade - The Series)
Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive (the theme from Mirror's Edge)
And whilst I'm at it, The Eleventh Doctor Theme.

No River of Dreams?
Anyway a number of sounds from this collection but you need to listen to them on a real SID (6581) as the software emulators all don't do it 100% right and don't sound this warm, powerful and are having filter issues.
The Troggs - Evil Woman.

Early 80's
The Police - Walking On The Moon live.... Sting is awesome... I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
