I really want the Packers to win it... but the Steelers are a really great team. It will be a really close game I think, and a pretty exciting one to watch...
As a Seahawks fan I'm not exactly in love with the idea of the Steelers (Stealers) winning another Super Bowl. Go Pack!
I was not aware that Australians followed the NFL.
Ordinarily, I'd say "boy did you ever pick the wrong forum for this thread", but I'm aware that not all geeks are as anti-football as I am. Unfortunately for me, neither is my dad. Total opposite of me, and with all the remote privileges.

I was born in Australia but my whole family is American. I took an interest in the sport after going to an exhibition game when I was up in Seattle visiting my Grandmother about six years ago or so. I've been a mad supporter ever since.
Australians think I sound American, Americans think I sound British, and the British think I sound Canadian. I've yet to meet a Canadian so I don't know if the circle will close and they'll think I sound Australian or if it will just keep going and they'll think I sound South African or something random like that

You misspelled "Stillers"... Saying "the Steelers have won too many. Go Packs!" is like saying "America has won too many. Go Taliban!" (Not saying Packers are evil. I love the Packers. Just not this week.)
It would have been funny if the Jets had beat the Steelers... because then it would have been the Pack Vs. Jets... two of the last teams Favre had played for.... Ending his career in Minnesota was a pretty big slap in the face for many Packer fans..

Packers don't deserve it, they got into the playoffs by a disallowed Tampa Bay TD against the Tigers (off. pass interference call the NFL ruled a mistake afterwards).

Okay, I promise I'll stop derailing this thread.

I have to disagree with that analogy.
She is now depressed.
Green Bay is not Americas team. The idea of "Americas team" is a load of crap.
Oh I dont know, I think the "Green Antelopes" could beat them.
When I was little, I liked the Horsey Heads and the Root Beers. Can you figure out who they are?
However, out of obligation I do have to root for whoever is repping the NFC, so... I'm (reluctantly) rooting for the Packers this year.
My co-worker -who's a p. big cheesehead herself- is over the moon. Peh.
To this, I concur.
OK, I hate you.
So everyone should hate you.
You're logic is flawed. You like the Browns. That's un-overcome-able.
I went to their site... one of their BIG stories is about a Packer player... go figure.

They could be lions fans, I wonder if lions...fans will still hate them if they did go to the superbowl.
