7-Up. Also, why isn't Root Beer listed?
  • edited February 2011
This poll feels familiar somehow. As if I've seen it before...

I answered Mountain Dew. Maybe I'll rank the varieties if I'm not feeling so lazy later. White Out is at the top, though.

When I was a kid my favorite was a "suicide", I loved mixing as many flavors as I could.

At some point my tastes shifted, and I favored Dr. Pepper for a while.

Then I moved on to loving M.F. Grape from Jones Soda.

Now I have to watch my sugar intake due to health reasons, and I don't get to drink much soda. When I do it's usually home brewed water-kefir, sweetened with cane sugar and flavored with fruit.

My parents rarely buy soda of any kind so having it was like some awesome treat that was too good to be true, so I rarely drank it back until I had a job and could by my own, hate to brag but maybe thats why I have such awesome teeth (take THAT stereotype!)

Bawls for me, it's insomnia in a bottle! It's also an energy drink that doesn't taste of ass, and their root beer is soooooo goooooood. (it doesn't taste of mouthwash!) Granted, I started drinking it because Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel told me to, but I don't regret it.

I'll drink Mountain Dew too, especially now that there's a UK version (Mountain Dew Energy) I don't have to pay horrible import prices for, but I'll be thinking of Bawls. And yes, the potential for making filthy jokes revolving around the name 'Bawls' is endless.

My favorite soda would have to be sprite and cola, I was going to pick Root beer but that isnt on the list.
  • edited February 2011
    Peepers!
  • edited February 2011
Well Rootbeer isn't listed, so I picked Sprite :) I don't drink caffeine, so that limits my options.

I am disappointed that it took so long for such a response to come up. It's instantly what I thought when seeing the thread title.

    Root beer, specifically Frostop
  • edited February 2011
    A&W Root Beer.
  • edited February 2011
Coke out of a bottle = good
Coke out of a can = a pleasure!
  • edited February 2011
    A&W Root Beer.

Either this or Dr. Pepper or Cherry Pepsi. It's a tough call between them, but I guess I'll pick Dr. Pepper because I drink it the most.

I love A&W but it's an outlandish price to get it imported :(

My friend is half American and somehow manages to always have a supply of it!

I answered Mountain Dew as well, but I wouldn't put White Out at the top. For me, it's original, then white out, then, um, the blue one.

Yeah, I'd put original and Voltage at the bottom. I guess my list would look something like this if I only include currently available flavors:

White Out > Code Red > Livewire > Throwback > Original > Voltage

3 Coca Cola brand products (four if you are buying Dr. Pepper in Europe), but only one Pepsi product as choices!? Biased poll. ;-)

Still, I went with "other". My answer is Vernor's Ginger Ale.

I chose Mountain Dew. Original Mountain Dew. The other varieties aren't bad, but nothing beats the original.

Pretty much the best. I have to make my own though, because they don't sell it around here for some reason.

Coke with real sugar (instead of high fructose corn syrup) is the best.

They still sell Livewire in my area. It's pretty great.

Is there anyone else here who keeps reading the thread title as "Favorite Soda Popper"??
  • edited February 2011
Good gossip, I thought this was about Sam and Max...

    Coca-Cola all the way. :D

I generally wait to buy pop until it goes on sale "buy 2 get 2 free", so I buy a 12 pack of White Out, a Code Red, a Livewire, and something else, then I open them all and stick some of each in the fridge. I usually like to drink the Livewire if I have one of them with lunch.

Pepsi Blue. IT STILL EXISTS IN MY MIND, DAMMIT! :(

I have to ask, was there a Diet Pepsi Blue? If there was this stupid sketch I've had in my mind for a year won't work.

They redesign things from time to time, it's only graphics, and it's only diet pepsi blue...what the heck is that?

I don't think there was, but with my luck, if I say "no, there wasn't", an alternate universe in which a Diet Pepsi Blue exists will replace this one for the sole purpose of making me wrong. :p

    Coca-Cola. Guess I'm just old-fashioned that way.
  • edited February 2011
I used to not be able to stand dry-style sodas, but now they're my favorite kind. I love stuff like seltzer and tonic waters, as well as Dry soda. I also generally like really old fashioned kinds of sodas like egg creams and colas. Am I weird?
