Just to bring the tally up so we tie with Canada, I'm from Britain.
Home of rain and excessive taxation.

Time for the daily tally! Oh, and also, I changed Great Britain into UK, since I was misusing the term. Apparently, GB doesn't include Northern Ireland, while UK does. You learn something every day.

Jack "Postal 2 killed our country" Thompson, anyone?
  • edited March 2007
I'm from Kent City, Michigan, USA. A tiny little town in the middle of pretty much nowhere with pretty much nothing going for it. Postal 2 was pretty sick, but it was pretty funny running around peeing on everyone too and making them throwup.

Yeah... Beckstein all the way... he's member of a shooting club though, isn't he? Or was that Stoiber?

    Anyway, Cologne, Germany over here.

In a not so far away future in a Jail somewhere in Europe:

    "Hey... why are you here?"
"Oh... child abuse, homicide, etc. ... you know... And you?"
    "First Person Shooters..."
    "Please, don't hurt me!!!"

Hey, nice. :) I used to work right by those train tracks and the river, at a web design agency around 1997, doing sites and marketing stuff for a bunch of telco startups that were often going out of business before we finished their websites and brochures :( Good times!

Finland! It's a bit wet here.. snow is melting and it's raining.
amm.. some people have said that they're from Sweden. I doubt that 'cause they have no sense of humour for S&M games, or neither to this reply :D

Humour? Are there any humour in any of these games??
I just use to draw Sam's gun pretending that I'm playing a shooter all the time, didn't really notice any of that humour you're talking about.
But I guess that it would probably give the game a totaly diffrent dept, just if I could understand this bloody humour-thingie

(...And this post kinda proves I got some sort of humour... Even if its a really wierd one :p)

Hey, stop this nonsense! Humour must be taken very serious!
I almost laught myself to death, when I watched intro of s&m episode 2. "Max pointing with a gun straight at Sam's head."
It made me to do the same thing to my mother...

    amm. the end.

    Hmm,

It seems I am the only (regular) South African here. Well I from the Republic of South Africa.

    Some fun facts:

    1) Yes, we are a country and we are referred to as South Africa. This is NOT a general term for "the south of Africa" although it is a good description of our location. (Southern Africa refers to the collection of countries in the south of our continent)

    2) No, we do not have Lions and Tigers and Bears (oh my!) running around in the streets / as pets / as public transport.

    3) There are quite a few people here from European descent (contrary to popular belief). A lot of (especially) Dutch, English, French and German immigrants came here during the late 17th century, as Cape Town was a midway point between Europe and India.

    3) We have 11 (!) official languages, of which 1 is English, 1 is Afrikaans (a Dutch based language that has a lot of local content as well, no tongue clicking though.

    4) For more fun facts goto http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Africa
