Loving it so far! How often do you plan to update it? And with how many pages? (I'm an impatient soul. I want to see the rest. NOW!!!!)
That's exactley why I'm gonna wait till the 1st episode have finished before reading it as a neatley packaged .CBR file on my phone ... I hate cliffhangers.
I'll comment after the 1st episode has finished (it's great to see that you're realeseing it in "episodes" Marius ... before knowing that I had no idea on what basis I should make my .CBR files ... monthly or every season ... )
Huh, so that guy is more interested in cakes than games ... only 4 days to find out what's up with his hair
It's pixelated. I'm not sure in how far Majus will try to mimic his original flash movie "Rick Rocket"'s reality, but in that movie Rick, quite illegally, used a low-res and therefore less energy-consuming reality for himself and his spaceship when the actual law said that high-res is imperative.
That flash movie is only in German right now, which is pity... but with the information above, I think you could actually follow what's going on in there.

Huh ... so that explains all those "will there be Rick Rocket in it" conversations between you and Majus ... So he's an old character ... Thanks for all the info
Unfortunately, there's no English version... or Iranian... of "Love Love Beer". Sorry!
You meant Persian, right?
That's shame. I like that comics style, and I love non-sense stories ...
I wonder if I can use that crappy google translate to understand it ... I say crappy because it's utterly inaccurate when it comes to translating Persian to other languages or vise-versa ...
I did expect Majus to translate Rick Rocket to English though ... if not for all the English visitors attracted to his site for his Monkey Island flash-films at least for all the new-comers to his Rick Rocket character ...

I'd like to see it in English as well. I did watch the German version, and liked watching all the pretty pictures, but didn't really get what was going on too well.

The story and the world around Rick changed a lot, and the laws of physics and rules of this universe aren't the same as the ones from flash-movie.
Ricks hair won't be unmentioned in the comic, but better don't ask him about that, he hates that topic.

I'd love to, but right now, there just isn't enough time. But as I said above, the comic is pretty much a complete reboot anyway. We will however start to introduce some old elements with a new spin very soon (wink nudge armwave). It'll take some time though. Right now, our heroes are a bit busy with their crashing spac--SKYYSCRAAPEER!!
So what do you guys think of the first chapter of our Rocketmen-story? What are your thoughts on the characters? Are there things you want see more of? Did you stumble upon stuff you especially liked or disliked?
We're very happy to read your feedback and comments.
The crew is taking a small break, and will return with episode 2 in a few weeks. That one is going to focus more on Rick, and his relationship to his family-name. Also, there's a princess involved, hilarious!
I've been reading this regularly since the start and all I can say is bravo!
As far as things I particularly liked.. well, Kashmir was absolutely hilarious, and the Ace Attorney reference in 1.20 made me laugh quite a bit.
I loved it! The design, the characters, and the locations are all so great. Kashmir has to be one of the greatest villians I've seen in a while. :P I also like that it's in traditional black and white. It works well.
Well, I uh... mmm I can't say anything now!!
I did not give up on any of my projects, that includes Sea for Two, Kauff and Gustav (show + comic strips + game), Jekyll/Hyde song, SciFi Project, LOTR Parody AND the...thing I can't talk about...not to mention that other THING that only you know about, Mr. Vainamoinen... HA!
I just have final exams in this period. I'm giving it all she's got, Cap'n!
The next Rocketmen-episode will arrive in a few weeks, but no worries, we have Micro Adventures! Silly, silly Micro Adventures! It’s a whole Rocketmen-story, stuffed in only one comic-strip!
It involves mindblowing panels like this one:
Klick here or on that picture in case you actually want to read the crews first Micro Adventure!
Stylus strokes are a bit too basic (or "artsy" ) in this first Micro Adventure installment. The perspective in panel 6 and the final butler's punchline in panel 10 get a little lost that way. Still, it does make for an exiting and undoubtedly dynamic read. Looking forward to more.
Sorry for the delay people, I am working on a filmproject at school right now, which takes more time than I thought... but I will get back to Rocketmen in august, and I'm looking forward to that. The script of episode two is good stuff!
The movie I am working on right now: An animated one, with pirates, ha ha. But wait, it's real pen and paper animation, so theres some variation compared to the flash-stuff!

...did you just lie to me??
Rocketmen will arrive at 7PM (Central European Time)… thats in about… oh my, six hours already??
*running off for stuff-to-do*
Heh, thanks! Though this is only the beginning of episode 1. More to come over the next weeks
Mihai: Woohoo!! Super cool!!
Thanks! Releases are on monday, wednesday and friday, and episode 1 will keep you busy for around seven weeks.

Must be interesting, I believe in your taste Vaina ... will check that out later.

A few hours ago we released the final comic-strip of episode 1, "A Heart of Cashmere"!
Link to the beginning of that episode.

For you, that is a dangerous thing to say.

Pray that he doesn't go mad and then turn Rocketmen into a Spanish soap opera.
So you mean this kind of madness??

I'll admit...
I'd probably still read that.
Super-bump!! August is just swooshing by, and it's not because I finally have some days of vacation!
Well, I can... and Majus can as well! ...we're just SO busy!
