Play For Japan - A Japanese Earthquake Game Industry Relief Effort

Hey guys -

Just wanted to point you in the direction of Play For Japan, a game industry effort to provide some kind of relief to those suffering in the wake of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. http://playforjapan.org/

It's basically auctions with various bits of video game memorabilia where all of the proceeds go to the Red Cross' relief efforts.

That, is a very nice bit of gear. Should raise quite a bit of brass for Japan

I also think that we as community should do something, I created a thread for it but maybe if I can talk to Guru about doing a race or playthroughs. To try and raise some money to send over there.

If we can figure out a way to use that to raise money, I'm all for it. If at all possible, I'd also love to see something like Our Telltale Heart come back.

If any of you are in the New Jersey Area, we will be running two major events- a Japan Fit thing in April in Garwood, NJ where we will be taking donations for exercise classes like spin, martial arts, and dance, and a benefit concert that is TBA but likely in Scotch Plains.
