Any good audio recordings?

I have been thinking about this for awhile, and I've been thinking of making videos for youtube with using my actual voice. However, I am in need of a good audio recording software that can make the audio sound good in its highest quality. Anyone know anything good?

    Don't know about highest quality software, I'm pretty sure it's hardware that effects quality. But good free software is audacity.

    Free - audacity
    Not quite so free - cubase.

    I use cool edit...but I haven't done voice work in quite a while. I prefer it, though there maybe a new edition out by now.

    Any decent sound editor can record high quality sound. You just need the right hardware and equipment (microphone, audio interface, etc).
