God is a theory
It seems to me , that even if it's not established, a lot of Catholics get offended when you bring up scientific theories, ideas, "facts".
What I'm wondering is if God isn't truly relevant in this physical universe where math and science proves things within our physical universe, then how are beliefs about God justified at all? Don't even begin to tell me that you don't interact with your world in a physical way. If God is above us all, but the belief exists within the physical universe where there's apparently absolutely no proof of a God through our methods, then what exactly , aside from the colorful faith, are you basing your beliefs on God on?
Where's a message without any comprehension? How do you know that you got the right message, the whole story? How do you know that your God isn't simply just the universe? Because if we're biasing God simply in the context that he's incomprehensible to our methods, above our knowledge, lets go back in 100 year intervals where we burned people alive or drowned them because they were witches and satanic...
What tools or reasons would God have for leaving a message behind that none of you could ever comprehend? You go back even further into history and we have people believing even worse things about gods and people...
You take it for granted, but your current beliefs of God are structured by SCIENCE and MATH and EDUCATION. We aren't living in the 1880s , 1600s, or early years of man anymore...none of us are...
And your teachers in elementary school have all been properly educated, whether it's a Catholic school or not, to teach you. Especially if you didn't go to a Catholic school, your teachers have had a college education...
So, what do you base your beliefs on, if you've been raised in a MODERN world, and old beliefs were so utterly violent and obscene? Science and math has redesigned the world, the idea that you haven't at all been affected by that is simply a myth...
Your minds have evolved with the human race, just as much as any one else . It's lies and deception to think that your views are purists views, or anything of the same mind set as the ancient followers of Christ. And as society changes, culture changes, people change, and they have more control over their lives with science and math, more confront, security, that we all have as a race, Id gander that the majority of Catholics, who aren't extremists, take these teachings, this preaching, a little less seriously, and simply as a way they should inspire to live morally...
Why? The answer is extremely simple, people go to college now and learn science and math and make something of their lives. At the least people go to school and learn math or different trades how to survive in this world. They keep their religions by their sides but will starve to death without some form of education.
As for experiences where we are judged, again the message has changed. Our sexual urges, behaviors have been studied and with science and a knowledge of what's happening and how to control ourselves we no longer give into our urges as often. Now, how does the original message of God, relate to this directly, if at all? What message? That our urges are evil, and that if we are feeling sexual that we are all bad and a bad person who acts out of bad urges, wants and desires? Sounds like a invitation for sin, or the beginning of satanic worship to me.
The message has changed as people have changed, you can try to write science and math out it, but you can't.
The only form your God exists in anymore is abstraction. Science and math gives us the answers to our lives, you can't deny that as your life is structured on those answers, ALL OF US. You drive a car, you ride a subway, whatever it may be.
Your God is a theory, and you can't accept that. Just as much as science and math has theories, your God is also a theory. And science and math has actual theories about God, unlike some of your followers who blindly believe in a God with no true message. You constantly try to interpret his message and history shows just as many mistakes and faults in your actions, such as witch burning...As history shows the same of many scientific theories, only most errors in science can be more easily understood, there's more of a message behind our errors, we can measure it...
How is your God measured? By self control, obedience, how is he measured that psychology and science can not help you observe or control, or understand?
What does your God do for you, do for us? As we see natural disasters, good people die? Catholics dieing in storms?Children dieing from small pox, as well as adults? And where does science come in as some of these things are avoided , prevented, cured?

Besides sciene doesnt prove everything.
I admit science has helped the human race but it's used more to cover up things not so much explain them....
