LOL, Lonnie. I understand. I'm 23 years old and I have made friends or at least associated with the top contributors of philosophy on the entire internet. I've done my share of thinking and I understand how you feel. You may be right even , my friend.

Your views may be unique, enlightened but imagine how others feel when you speak to them in that way? There's better ways to make your point so that you can express yourself without being as isolated. I know where you're coming from Lonnie, I used to do the same thing. I'd argue, get banned from forum after forum, after forum. I was hot headed.

I began to realize that the friends I had made were gone, and that I couldn't socialize any where because I was just too hostile.

Lonnie, your right, I know you've been through a lot. You've had a hard life and your experiences have probably changed you a lot. But, people aren't going to respond well to be looked down on. :D

You might even be a super genius, I don't know, I don't judge. You might surpass the understanding of the universe and go beyond what I could ever dream of. I don't know, but Lonnie if you're at a place to socialize and you feel that you have good ideas you need to present your ideas more fairly, so that people respond better to you and so that you can express yourself more clearly.

Other wise you'll never get your own ideas out, because people will be way too busy defending their own ideas and feeling insulted.

But, maybe you do know better than most people, but people generally respond better when they want to, when they respect you and what you're saying , rather than feel insulted and as if you don't respect them.

I just think we should respect what people like in movies. Sure, the Seltzer and Friedberg films are mostly pure shit in its purest form (Scary Movie 3 and onwards, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Vampires Suck), but if people like these movies, respect their opinions.

I mean, I know people who like High School Musical.

Absolutely. Although, I must say that I don't respect peoples taste in the movies you've listed above. I do however, tolerate those tastes and certainly don't make a point of getting indignant with anyone who likes something which I deem to be crap.

What bothers me are the high and all mighty people that ell me oh Lonnie you didnt get Inception etc thats why you didnt like it, and you cant join our awesome book club because you havnt read our favourite book Catcher in the Rye.

Okay, fine but I didn't say any such thing to you Lonnie, so there really was no need to get up in my face.

How about a Twilight marathon instead? That's way cheeper. Before the end you will have chewed your owen arms open and die from the bleeding. At least the first movie was a great comedy. It was meant to be a comedy, right?

Beh, I back out of this conversation. Too much pretentiousness.

It was a Comedy-Horror. As in, it was unintentionally laughable and horrifically bad.

I never appreciated glitter that much until I saw ShiteLight, now I like to put it all over my naked body when I hum facing east towards the radiant sun of warming tan.

Yes, I have been banned from many forums, for being me, I havnt even said jack shit really but alot of people out there think "oh yeeeh? By the powers of Greyskull I vanquish you from my controlled forum". Ooooh, virtual reality power.

People like to silence the free thinkers because it corrupts the norm and basic thinking pattern. If I piss in your pool no ones gunna want to swim in it. (Lol.)

I'm tired of people telling me 'this is life', 'thats life'. F*** YOU. Life is a billion possible things.

You have to fight for what you want in life and sometimes arguments are just a part of that and getting your point across.

Fair enough I get hot headed lol theres nooo denying that at all, but its passion more than anything. I'm not gunna send you a parcel of anthrax thru the post if I knew your address nor club you over the head if we were disputing in person.

I am the outspoken and mocked. COOOL MAN. Id rather be hated for something I am than loved for something I'm not.

    Cue cheese.

I never watched Twilight because I have a 2-chick-films-a-year limit, and I want to save them for romantic comedies.

I just loaded a porno and instead of pressing 'replay' I presses something else now its got to buffer again. FML.

Alright, alright, LOL :D Don't get hot headed, lonnie! :D

Speaking of Hollywood, I have no interest in Speilberg's new movie coming out.

Seriously watch the first Twilight-movie. Even without the rifftrack one of the funniest movies ever. Just try to laugh about every scene and you will see that it works.

I will not discuss Brazilian Fart Porn here. And I will not discuss 2girls1cup.

@mods: can we finally close this thread now?

    Why close it?

Because otherwise I'll rant about how High School Musical is the best movie in existence.

FYI, I'm very much a free-thinker too. I really don't understand why you believe that being a free-thinker is one and the same as being rude and obnoxious. Try being a free-thinker with manners and you'll probably find that you don't get vanquished from quite so many forums in the future.

    This thread has seriously derailed.

Unless, people can get back on track then for once I actually agree with this statement.

... and the rudeness continues. You actually owe me an apology but you still haven't given one, which I accept. However, I'm giving you some advice that will make your life a lot more stress free and all you can do is continue to make snide, grammatically incorrect one liners.

Well done, you really are coming across as a bright spark.
