[ToMI] The case of the Disappearing Touchpad pointer

Just bought the game for PC, (collectors edition with all the collectable stuff in it) and was really looking forward to buckling my swash, or swashing my buckle again, its been years since i got to play the Monkey Island Games, used to play them all the time and still own the other games from when they originally came out.

But everything was going well, installed fine, but then i got to the contents screen (save/load, new game, etc) and my pointer disappeared, I can still select stuff on screen but when you cant see the pointer its not easy!!.

Any ideas what i can do about this? I really want to be a bloomin pirate again!!

    forgot to mention im on Windows Vista if that makes any difference

    anyway now on to ur matter it just sounds like a bug i would ether re-install the game or try loading a older save
