The Longest Journey on sale on GOG.com today!
Just a friendly notice to my fellow point and clickers that one of the best adventure games ever (imho anyway) is on sale today for 60% off at GOG.
Zomg go get it!
Play it and the slightly-less-awesome-but-still-pretty-great sequel Dreamfall and then you, too, can be endlessly annoyed by the fact that the creators, Funcom, keep making mediocre MMOs instead of producing a third TLJ!

I got a DRM free disc version in my special edition version of Dreamfall.
(I love both games, and the special edition of Dreamfall is awesome since you get a Music disc and an artbook on top of both games! (Shame Dreamfall still has DRM on it though.. ))
The GOG version has art and music as well.
... BOUGHT!
Is your special edition not the same as mine with the art book and soundtrack CD?
I think the one I have only has Art and Music from Dreamfall, not The Longest journey.
I don't recognise the sketches in the GOG version.
This is the version of Dreamfall I have:

Right you are fella, i've the same one as well. That DRM on Dreamfall's cack, it totally wrecked my computer when I had Vista, had to download a shady crack to remove it, because I am criminal scum.
Also as Daishi was saying, the first few puzzles are just insane (I used a walkthrough for a few of them) after the first wee while you get into the groove. The contrasting worlds had me enchanted and gripped, could have done with a wee drop more Stark maybe, but I don't prefer one over the other.
Dreamfall refused to run on my computer due to it's DRM bullshit. A quick search on google led me to a crack which allowed me to play the game, without the disc no less. Yet another example of why DRM is complete bollocks. If anything it encourages piracy. Still, the soundtrack and art book made a legitimate purchase worthwhile.
