DeviantArt! Anyone?
I couldn't find any threads related to DeviantArt and I know we have some very talented people around here. Let's share links and pictures just to see how awesome we all are..and the World and it's butterflies will--
Okay, I'm lying.
Mihai, my bro, started to work in photoshop lately and he wants to get as much feedback as possible on his latest works.
Even if it's only a small increase in the number of views, he gets really excited about it and starts drawing some more.
If you feel like it, please take a look at his drawings. Or even comment. Or a thumbs up. Or whatever you awesome people do on DeviantArt. It means a lot to him.

Oh and, yeah, you can also post your own links in this thread. It's been approved. Show us your works!

@ Silverwolfpet: I gave your brother a ~Llama Badge~ on DeviantArt.
EDIT: Lllama > llama. That L...

That one is sleeping pretty hard. I've got all those big plans, but there's just no time and these days, I hardly pick up a pencil at all. Damn.
I don't have a lot uploaded yet, but I have several projects that I am slowly working on that will eventually be uploaded.
Most of what I have there is just Sam and Max fanart. Mostly used as practice. Also some coloring experiments, etc.

Most of it is fan-art from various fandoms, but, you'll find some more original stuff in there too, as well as bad comics based off of experiences playing through Fallout: New Vegas as Papierwaite.
I'm gonna look through all your accounts a bit later. Vainamoinen, you should really draw more. You're awesome at that!

Only one bit of Sam and Max stuff in my gallery (a winamp skin based mostly on the Season One website) but there's plenty of other video game stuff that I've made there
I mostly draw comics staring my dog Harry at the moment.

The latest Struzan-style portrait is stellar. Do you request/accept any kind of nitpick critique on it? The technique is intriguing... damn, I have the very equipment to do the same thing (i.e. Photoshop and a Wacom tablet). But time permitting, my experiments will be more in the direction of traditional art in the coming weeks.
And don't be fooled by it being posted latest, it was the first time I've tried the Struzan style.
Sweet stuff.
I had a deviantart account, but I only ever posted one crappy picture on it.
Not an artist myself, but I do dabble in doodles and spriting on occasion.
(Never seem able to motivate myself to do more. I'm very lazy at heart...)
EDIT: REALLY? I made that account 5 years ago!
Damn. Well at least I still remember the login details.
EDIT 2: Heck! Lets add some stuff I've done recently. Make it look less bare! XD

Mostly fanart, the majority being Sam & Max but some other stuff too - even one or two dabbles in writing.
What kind of coloring did you have in mind?
This thread encouraged me to make a new one under my new name and use it to share some old sketches I have lying around.
Some Max sketches and a portrait of my deceased grandmother.

Well I can draw a good background but coloring it, for me, is a daunting task. Primarily because I have never done it. Of course I'd never colored in PSP or Photoshop at all until this past year. But, they're backgrounds for my game, so I can't have them in black in white. I like the coloring style used in Whispered World or Curse of Monkey Island and I'll have to learn how to do it at some point.

Not exactly tutorials, but some useful tips from Mr. Bill Tiller himself:
Tiller Techniques
Also you should look through THIS thread at the AGS forums.
I think he does it right - starts out with composition. The second tutorial mainly deals with atmospheric perspective, also a great thing to learn. Relatively new books on the subjects are Framed Ink, a solid introductory course on the subject of composition, and Color & Light, a near-perfect course on the use and science of color.
The problem remains that you'd still want an actual "coloring tutorial" - that is, Photoshop technique. I wanted to suggest a book here too, but for some reason, it has gone out of print and is now seriously expensive. Really, it's not worth THAT much. Maybe wait for the next edition, and I'm sure there'll be one.
This thoughtlessness by the DeviantArt crew angers me.
mmmmmmm...
....tarts.

I just realized I've barely drawn anything for my gallery.

Not too much stuff on it yet.

This is a old Harrison ford. I drew it, lol...thanks for sharing with us.
Love the color on the second Secret Fawful.
Mihai entered this contest (I think you know what it is about). What do you think of his entry?
