    Ok audio and video are coming out fine. Now need to split the video.

    What did you end up using and how'd you get the sound to work right?

    Hypercam. I'd been using a USB headset with a mic but since it didn't line in with my soundcard the computer had to treat them as two different sound devices and simultaneous recording was impossible. So now I'm just using an external usb mic to capture my audio and my speakers.
