I'm doing my part. I just downloaded Myst and Riven. I'm still sitting on copies of The Witcher, The Longest Journey, Fallout, and Fallout 2, but I think I'll just stick with the two for now.

Which Myst did you get. Did you get RealMyst?

No, I got Masterpiece Edition. I can't remember what I based my decision on, but rest assured it was an informed decision.

And it was still the wrong one.:(

Both versions are worth playing through once, but I think realMyst is the one you want in your collection long-term. The 3D exploration and changing weather patterns add a lot of value to repeat plays.

I am extremely tempted by the nice Witcher 2 offer. And not just because I really like Roche. Really.

I have never heard about Broken Sword before, but hey I like free stuff so I got it.

Loved RealMyst. It gets flak for not looking very appealing (I don't get it either), but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful game. Love the weather, day/night, etc effects. I used to just start up the game and go sit on the top of the rock with the telescope in the Stoneship Age and just watch the storm at night (night in the game) while the pretty telescope music was playing. It's a great game to just take in.

Can you image in Riven was remade with today's graphics?

It looks just like the normal Myst but it is 3D. I was really pleased by that. Also: in realMyst they used mp3s from the original soundtrack Cd for the music and not that shoddy quality music they used in the original & masterpiece edition.

I got RealMyst and I can admit it's not an easy game, every puzzle I get to I get stuck.
But there is no doubt it's a nice game, and the better features in RealMyst sounded too good to not get, over the not so good Masterpiece edition.

It looks BETTER than the original game. Everything has so much more fine texture and aesthetic details.

I believe they also reshot all of Atrus's parts didn't they? And then there's the bonus age that's not in the 2D version (but was attempted to be put into the DS 2D version).

Words cannot describe how angry I get when this happens to me.

Actually "slightly miffed" would do the trick.

I wouldn't be miffed if someone already had my username. Just incredibly confused.

I already own a few copies but it never hurts to have back ups out there...

I also recommended it to a few friends and family
