    Wow, now I'm getting all nostalgic. Ahhh, I remember when those books were cool like, 5 or 6 years ago. Then Dave Pilkey was never heard from beacause apparently he was working on the 9th book; and then Diary of a Wimpy Kid was released and knocked the series down like a sack of bricks! Perhaps this movie might bring back the sereis popularity, or fail and send the series deeper into the grave it's dug itself.

    this will be awesome!.......as long as theres not 60 sequels like a orge cat and donkey film made by dreamworks just kidding!!!

    HE actually stopped for a while because of family troubles. He's actually got new books out.

    I liked the books, but I don't know how well it would translate to film.

    Anyway, I don't think Dreamworks is the best choice to make a children's book into a movie. Did you see The Cat in the Hat?
