I watched a Spielberg/Williams roundtable discussion last night in which Spielberg said that the number of usages of the Indiana Jones theme varies based on the tone of the film. Doom was darker, therefore it had fewer usages, although Spielberg greatly admires the Willie Scott/Elephant's March theme and can hum it by memory, however Crusade, as the lightest of the movies, had the most usages of the Indy theme.
EDIT: Also, a true film nerd would have looked at my list and seen Love Happy and said WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU AN IDIOT?
Well, it's really difficult for me to choose a favorite out of the original three, because I really enjoyed all of them. But Doom comes out on top because it was dark, sometimes gruesome, but still made me laugh hysterically at some points, had the most quotable lines, and my favorite Williams score (I especially love "The March of the Slave Children").
And while Short Round might get on a lot of people's nerves, I found him hilarious when I was a ten year old...well, I still find him hilarious actually.
It's okay, but it's kind of built from what I consider a minimal knowledge of film. Then again, lately I've come to decide anyone who isn't Quentin Tarantino has a minimal knowledge of film.
I don't like Tarantino. The violence in his movies can be very stupid, and his action sequences are boring. Yes, I mean Kill Bill.

Doesn't matter. When it comes to film knowledge Tarantino is insane.
Well i'll ring him next time I get stuck on a movie question in Trivial Pursuit then.
