Oo, I gots a credit. Yayz! No idea why... inspiration?

Had to say, I enjoyed this! Chopping it around like you did was a little confusing, but your comments were entertaining enough to paper over that. Good stuff!

That's exactly what I wanted to say.
    Good Job!

EDIT: Also, the quirky character physic and the wired sound-effects of the game added a lot to the hilarity factor. Like 6:15. The Point? Play obscure, not-know games like that? Maybe? I don't even know what's the point I was trying to make. But, a suggestion grew out of this. Why don't you look into the AGS game database and play the unknown games?
  • edited May 2012
That was pretty damn funny. I was giggling all the way through.
  • edited May 2012
    Thanks guys!

I'd try AGS games if they are platformers. Platforming games are much more unpredictable and I don't wanna bore people with walls of text (if it's an adventure game).
I was kind of forced to chop the clip because Fraps gives me only 30 seconds at a time to work with, which can become frustrating. Any suggestions on free/better programs? The filessize was also annoying. 250Mb for a 30 seconds clip?? ...it's not a MOVIE, it's a Let's Play.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated! ^^

I hope the microphone wasn't too distracting.

I've heard good things about virtualdub.org...

What do you mean? Oh, the Skype noises and the Avast alert was pretty funny two! You can turn that into a running gag if you could manage to avoid the potential repetitiveness.
  • edited May 2012
Seven minutes is just about the right amount of time for me to watch. So it's a good thing you died right then. ;) I generally have to skip the multi-hour Let's Plays....

Liked your comments, too! And Avast's!

First person to PM me nets newest Humble Bundle.
    ... and gone!
  • edited June 2012
Bastion. You know you want it. PM me and wire the sum of $1,000,000 to my account to claim. Or just PM me.
  • edited June 2012
Me want Psychonauts on Linux... [/shameless-request-,-especially-considering-D10-gave me-the-DFA-...*]

[* Didn't mean that I'm asking D-10 to gift it, just meant it's probably kinda rude (but I'm gonna say it anyway!)]

EDIT2: Was just trying to reserve myself on the queu for anyone willing to gift the latest bundle, which is probably not how it works... So, forget it.

I'm an idiot sometimes. Leave it to me to post something up like that and then walk away for almost a whole day. Anyway. Fawful got it because he was the first PM I got and it seemed like the fairest way of doing it. Sorry to everyone else. That was my bad.

You could always make them fight to the pain.

  • edited June 2012
I'll take one of the Dark Messiah codes :p

If you've got a Humble Voxatron Debut or Humble Bundle for Android 2, those'd be nice too. :)
  • edited June 2012
pm me. I got 2 dark messiah codes left.

and sorry i didnt get any of the android bundles. i got the first 3 for sure though.
didnt realize there was so many humble bundles lol
  • edited June 2012
If you don't know what Dark Messiah is you should drop everything and play it now.
Why are you still reading this? Play this game!
  • edited June 2012
So, thanks to the Humble Bundle adding three new games, I now have Braid, Lone Survivor and Super Meat Boy to give away as a three-pack on Steam. If you want it, PM me with a convincing reason as to why I should give it to you. Best one wins.

And no, I CANNOT split the three. Stupid Indie Bundles.

EDIT: Gone, to a very deserving Secret Fawful, whose reasoning was so perfectly slutty I cannot repeat it.

Yes, forgot to say I took it. Sorry, Dashing! The game is afoot for next time, though!

Okay. Today is my birthday and one of you gets a present.

It's a unused Steam-Key for Super Meat Boy (from the retail version)

All you have to do is decode this:

    smbcode.png

Good luck and please leave a message after you used the code.

I Googled "QR code decoder", and got to a page that decoded it to say this:

    *snip*

(btw, I have Super Meat Boy, so I haven't used this. I'm just making it easier for everyone else.)

Noes! You ruined the fun of it!

You are defeating the purpose of this. I wanted whoever grabs it to work for the code.
  • edited June 2012
A very TINY amount of work, but at least with the QR code someone would have to know and do SOMETHING rather than scumming around in the thread for pasted codes. Kind of dickish to undermine that, since it's der ketzer's code to give away however he likes, not yours.
  • edited June 2012
    Alright then. I deleted it.

I was just thinking to be nice to someone who wanted the game but didn't know what that code was called or what to do with it.

I thought the purpose was that you had the code and were too lazy to decode it, not that you were trying to get other people to do work.

Nope. I payed 20€ for this product key and the box around it last Christmas (even though I already owned the game on Steam for over a year by then). I wanted a tiny bit of work to be involved. I made that Code myself :D.
  • edited June 2012
I condone working for gift codes.

    Thank you.

Have a key for Oddworld Inhabitants Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee + Exoddus to give away. First to PM me with a link to something that actually makes me laugh gets it. I already have the Oddboxx so I don't need doubles of these games.
  • edited June 2012
Two words: Super-Tourettes. GuruGuru takes this one.
Thanks for playing. I might buy a second bundle and do this again specifically because the cash goes to a girl with cancer. If I do, I'll give the second bundle away a game at a time, each with specific challenges.
  • edited June 2012
    Sweet!

For the rest of you, here's what I sent him.
  • edited June 2012
    Well you suck.
  • edited June 2012
Went ahead and bought a second copy of the bundle. Y'all are in luck!
