Yeah, this is really more for active members of the forums. Probably along the same guidelines as the Secret Santa thread: an account that's 1-2 months old and has about 60 posts.
I've been going through my disc collections and have found that I have a few duplicates that I don't need. Now I'm just wondering if it's viable to offer these duplicate games to people on here, providing price of postage isn't abhorrent. I suppose it also depends if someone is okay with sharing an address, privately of course.
In any case the duplicates I've found so far are:
Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers (with big box (optional))
A Revolution Games collection set (Broken Sword 1 & 2, Beneath a Steel Sky & Lure of the Temptress, also with big box (optional as well))
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse (disc version from Telltale - they accidentally sent me two replacement copies when I reported that the first disc I got from them didn't work)

Any thoughts?
Yes, my thoughts are how much would shipping cost to the Midwest USA for one item?
I suppose the first question would be to ask where YOU are, since then we can make a rough guess as to how much it would cost to get stuff shipped to US.
A quick look at the Royal Mail site shows that I could send a game (not in a big box) from £3.30 for both the USA & Canada. That's based on the package not weighing more than 100 grams. For up to 200 grams it would be £4.42. I've not got any scales here so I'm just getting usable estimates. These sort of prices I'd be happy covering. There are more secure options (such as requiring a signature upon delivery or delivery confirmation) which costs from £8.45 (100g) / £9.57 (200g). All options have delivery time of about 5 days.
If you are wanting the big cardboard boxes I have for some of these then that would probably change the prices.
I would also have to remember to fill out appropriate custom forms but that shouldn't be much of a problem as Royal Mail provide them on their site.
Just found another duplicate - Star Trek: 25th Anniversary.
Oh and postage to Germany would be around £2.70, easily manageable.
Here's some photos to show what I've got, mainly to show the boxes which are really just basic but as I still have them I'd thought it best to give the option.
More details, the contents of the GK box are (other than the game) a Seirra game catalogue from 96/97 and installation instructions. The manual is in the jewel case.
With the Revolution collection, the manuals are pdfs on the disc. In the box is a registration card, a note about the manuals being on a disc and a advertising leaflet for In Cold Blood.
The Sam & Max is still sealed and the Star Trek game is just the disc in a jewel case. Actually I think the disc is from a different release to the case but that shouldn't make any difference.
I think someone else said that they would like that first. I didn't realise that there would be this much interest so I have to go on a first come, first served basis.

I was looking at the Gabriel Knight box, but considering I didn't specify that earlier, I'm not sure if I made it or not. But see if you can calculate shipping from your area to Trenton, Missouri, USA, and I'm more than willing to put the shipping up on the big box.
Well you were still first to ask for details so I'd say you're first in line for a game. If anyone has a problem with that at least let me know.
As for postage of GK in it's box I won't be sure of cost until I get it packaged up and weighed but as long as it's under or around £5 I'll happily cover the cost. This should cover packages up to 250g to the USA. Just need to have a look for some big padded envelopes, sure I've got some somewhere.
I've got spare copies of The Secret of Monkey Island and The Basement Collection on Steam if anyone wants them. Must have been a TTG forum member prior to December 2012. PM me if you want one of them.

Also - did you sign up solely to get a free game? That's... that's generally frowned upon.
Yeah. That's something Simon The Sorcerer would do to calm down after killing 12 people.
No, i registered because i can't access one section of the forums.

I live in the magical land of Germany. How much would the postage be for the non.box version then?

Isn't there anything I can do with them? Like trade them or something?
CorruptBiggins, PMing you...
Still have Sam & Max up for grabs, at last check I think der_ketzer was interested in it.
Now to go and check out how to fill out custom forms.
I'm sorry but someone asked before you and I have to go on a first come, first served basis.
PM me if you want it, must have 50 posts or more. Offer void in Utah.
EDIT - It's gone.
Wait, what?
Side note; this game is really fun.
You sir, are a man of wealth and taste.
