I'm pretty sure Raptor Jesus is stalking the three wise men in the name of Raptor God.

scientific, well dinos werent alive when jesus was around, jesus was born 6 BC and died 4 BCE, which BC would be more into phrestoric predators like the mammoth or the sabre tooth, dinosaurs lived before man kind, the time when god was probably around, i just gave the more scientific example, and please dont make fun of jesus in anymore of these threads please and thank you

Technically, there weren't any dinosaurs in 1994 either, but then we have Jurassic Park. Absolutely nothing wrong with anachronism for the sake of a joke.

What. By this estimate, Jesus was like ten years old when he died.

Also, prehistoric predators like the mammoth and the sabre tooth cat died out thousands of years before Jesus. Just FYI.

What? So Jesus didn't know Fred Flintstone?

I just noticed another inconsistency and feel really stupid about it.
jesus was born 6 BC and died 4 BCE

BC stands for Before Christ. BCE stands for Before Common Era. Both are in reference to the exact same start date. So by your calculations, Jesus was two years old when he died. I call stercus tauri.

This may be my favorite thing I've ever read.

We do not exactly know when this incident took place. The three wise men could have been on their way back from you-know-when.

But, coolsome, you assume that they all escaped. Have you looked at this page?

    Doesn't look like it. :D

/edit: Damn, ketzer was a bit faster. ;)

It's worse than that. There was a story earlier this year about a little girl in floods of tears on hearing the Easter story (no, not the one about the rabbit. The one where the guy gets nailed up somewheres to die): "He was only a little baby, he was only born at Christmas!"

nah i went on Wikipedia and read don't know if its true or not though? this sounds more right lol 2 BC and 1 AD

That would make him three years old when he died.

    Crucifixion%20dark.jpg

That's one hell of a beard for a three year old.

I'm going to set you straight on this one. BC means "Before Christ", and AD means "Anno Domini", Latin for "In the Year of Our Lord" (this is why so many people are switching to the convention BCE/CE (Before Common Era/Common Era), to take the religion out of it). This means that the year 1 AD should be the year he was born. According to Wikipedia, he was likely born between 7 BC and 2 BC, and he likely died between 30 AD and 36 AD, which would make him 32 at the youngest and 43 at the oldest when he died.

Well, obviously that one wasn't really all that wise.

I like the current one but that's just because it has the game collection on the side. Something about looking at all the DVD's lined up, even if not in order, is really satisfying.

Is the Tis the Season banner using a version of the King's Quest font? Or am I just imagining things?

Yep, that's it. I can't remember what the font is called but that's totally it. Somebody help me here...

I have to add something other than quotes, but the purpose of that post was to reiterate posts from another relevant thread, not to add to them.

Putting an ellipsis was the first thing I came up with.

I'm personally a fan of the 5x5 pixel transparent image when I need to write a "blank" post.

Tomp, you're the reason we can't have nice things.

Wait, so you can currently buy every season of Sam & Max for $9.99 each or you can buy the complete set for $39.99? Math has never been my strong suit but I don't think that adds up right, guys :p
