I haven't seen it, but I LOVE the shorts.

Looney Tunes Back in Action, I think it's a great film

Me too, but I can see why it wasn't commercial. The middle is fairly weak, the star names are underused (Steve Martin is practically unrecognisable), and - unlike some of the 1970s or 1980s tv specials - the characters were actually used in sensible contexts! But after all, where else are you going to see all the great movie monsters in one place?

It was mildly funny. Still, like Space Jam, nothing like the original shorts. At all. Steve Martin amused me quite a bit, though for some reason.

I enjoyed the movie enough (but really, anything with Daleks in them will entertain me), but it's not a big surprise they're not been another one since. it was kind of weak as a whole, but the individual elements were fun.

Game was pretty good too, actually. Had nothing to do with the film, which worked wonders.

Yeah im a fan of the game too (it even used a part of a deleted ending from the movie with Tweetie being turned into a dinosaur)

What is your opinion on the new loony toons they just released a few months ago? Should they have kept with the old instead of the new? The new ones, all they seem right now is like modern day lives, but instead puts some humor in them, the old ones was way funnier.

    It's Loony TOONS.

[pedantry]Actually, it's Looney Tunes. They were originally supposed to be cartoons set to music, to compete with Disney's "Silly Symphonies" line.[/pedantry]

Anyway, I guess the new Looney Tunes cartoon is OK, but there's really no reason for it to be about the Looney Tunes when it's a (relatively) normal slice-of-life cartoon.

Still, it's not like the old cartoons have gone away. Except the really racist ones Warner Bros. will never let see the light of day again. :p

It's easy to say that "the old ones were better" or somesuch but I distinctly remember as a kid getting kind of disappointed when I saw they were about to play a really old cartoon. I liked seeing the newer, crisper animation. Especially when the old one was one of those black and white porky pig episodes. So just remember the target audience for these cartoons is not you, it's small children.

Another great thing about Back In Action the video game, It's better than Looney Tunes Acme Arsenal :D, the Duck amuck DS game is pretty good :)

I never watched Back in Action, but I did like Space Jam and I still find it entertaining even now that I'm an adult. :) Even though it's nothing like the Looney Tunes shorts and is basically a feature length Nike commercial. :p

I've seen a couple of the new CGI Roadrunner/Wile E Coyote shorts and I am impressed. These two actually translate pretty well into CGI, especially the Roadrunner's plumage, and they're pretty faithful to the original shorts.

So what does everyone think of The Looney Tunes Show?

It sucks. And I’ve watched Rabbit of Seville and Rabbit Fire over 100 times, and both just keep getting funnier every time I watch them. I find The looney Tunes Show to be a drag-the-original-through-the-mud show, and it is also rather pathetic in humor. Kiddified shit.

“Yeah, Yosemite Sam. The roughest, toughest, he-man stuffest hombre this side of the Rio Grande... And I don’t mean Mahatma Gandhi!” I found this to be funnier. And also, I hate censorship in old cartoons. I laugh even harder at those.
