Who is the Best Bond?

Sean Connery
George Lazenby
Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton
Pierce Brosnan
Daniel Craig

Those guys are great and all, but my personal favorite is Brosnan. Goldeneye is my favorite Bond film.

Weird thing is I was actually going to put Sellers and David Niven. But I didn't mean the goofy James Bond. I mean the awesome James Bond.

Ah, then I go with Toby Stephens.

    Jon Pertwee.

On a serious note, I've only ever seen one bond film, no idea which one, so its Pierce Brosnan all the way.

Eh? Surely you mean Michael Jayston, BBC Radio's James Bond AND the Valeyard! (see, James Bond really is a Time Lord).

I wonder if you can get Bob Holness's South African "Moonraker" to listen to?

Daniel Craig. Then again, I've only ever seen Casino Royale and Dr. No, so I'll admit I'm not the world's biggest bond fan.

you've seen more than me, I've only seen Quantum of Solace.

"Quantum of Solace" is a great short story. The film, not so much.

Quantum of Solace was one of the most pathetically-directed films I've ever had the misfortune of watching. The action sequences were nigh-on painful.

Reinforced by the fact that in a later incarnation (The Timoth Dalton years) he played Rassilon.

Nawww. Goldeneye was Brosnans only good Bond film, the rest were terribad. A good rule of thumb for Bond is that the film's as good as the theme tune. Bar Goldeneye the Brosnan era had the worst theme tunes hands down, that piece of tonka toy electronic crap Madonna did just isn't what you want from a Bond flick.
    In this order:

    Timothy Dalton
    Sean Connery
    George Lazenby
    Pierce Brosnan
    Roger Moore
    Daniel Craig

Dalton on top? I mean Licence to Kill is fun, but Living Daylights = zzz. I dunno where to place Craig personbally loved Casino Royale, hated QoS.

    Connery
    Moore
    Lazenby
    Dalton
    Brosnan
    (???) Craig

I do actually like all of em except Brosnan, when your Bond seems more smug and poncified than Roger Moores you have problems.
