So Rick is in the game/ NOT!
"Telltale did note that familiar Walking Dead characters Rick, Lily and Glenn will appear in the game when Lee and Clementine reach the border of Atlanta. Presumably, other fan favorites like The Governor could also appear."

^^The link above states that this has been confirmed already. If this is the case will it tie in with Rick's story in the comics? do you think we will see Lee and Clem in a future comics?

I think they typo'd that one and meant Hershel:rolleyes:
KInda makes you wonder why they wouldn't mention Big Hersh??
An article as old as the world. Was that even 2012?
Unlikely that they got it right while all the others got it wrong...
Yeah good point.
Cause if you meet Rick you have to meet a bunch others as well, including Glenn (again)
the game seems to include the comic characters BEFORE the comic starts. So I could be wrong.
They could just have him make a cameo appearance in it since it don't fallow the comic or show all it is a different story with the same theme
Ah, but it does follow or is canon to the comics, just a different survivor groups story:D
Here is a statement by Jake, a Dev at TTG..."in fact, the story seen in our game is officially canon to the comic books"
And source: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/04/23/the-walking-dead-game-series-lurches-to-psn-tuesday-with-pre-purchase/
Its like people don't even read anymore. The game follows strict canon to the comics, meaning you won't be meeting Rick anytime soon.
It has been denied actually I'm pretty sure.
You can't say "I think it's been confirmed" and not cite a source when a poster above you contradicts your original statement.
RappinReggie already did the hard work, haha. The game follows the comics. Rick never meets Lee's group.
Only way you would meet rick in this time frame would be in the hospital and that time has long since passed.
I go along with the typo for Hersh.

Its already been stated why that is a bad source, read the thread.
EDIT:Besides that, the link doesn't even work.
EDIT2:Ok the first link does work, I want to point out this one quote
"Telltale did note that familiar Walking Dead characters Rick, Lily and Glenn will appear in the game when Lee and Clementine reach the border of Atlanta." they left Atlanta in episode 1, meaning that they won't be seeing Rick. Clearly typo.
That doesn't confirm anything. There's no direct quote from TTG about Rick appearing in the game. In fact, if you google the GameTrailer TTG interview mentioned in that article you see that he mentions meeting Glen, Lilly, and Hershel.

Cite a source where TTG themselves confirm that Rick appears in the game and then you can call it confirmed.
That might be a tough one:rolleyes:
Ah, you mean Morgan. Unless the group goes north, they won't meet. Lee's group is currently in Macon, GA while Morgan and his son are still in Rick's hometown of Cynthiana, KY. Another fun fact is that it's also Kirkman's hometown.
i am totally ignorant of the geography of america, but didn't morgan move on as well, he was going to meet up with rick again wasn't he?
You need to make the comics a priority (Morgan is also in those), so badass!!
We don't know (in the show at least) where Morgan is or what he is doing...Yet....maybe??
It's about a ~500 mile/804 km distance between the two cities. It's somewhat of a small spoiler but
this is beginning to sound like a math problem
wow that is a massive distance, America you so big, it would be hard to travel 500 miles anywhere in England/Britain and still be on land
No. Robert Kirkman (creator of The Walking Dead) and Telltale felt that it would be more interesting to tell a story of a new group of survivors.

I was searching for similar comments yesterday. I couldn't find one that explicitly disproves that Rick could have a cameo, although I was rather sure one of the devs did say it. We'll see...
Rick won't, but Invincible does.
That would be "bad-ass":D:D
Hey, we can hope!!
