How much will Lee have to endure?

[Will Telltale be] Complete assholes to lee? LOL anyone who reads the comics will know that Kirkman is an asshole to rick, man he has done some awful awful stuff to him! and seeing as lee is telltales main caracter like rick is, do you think they will torture him in the coming months? they have already made him kill his brother, so who knows

You made me rush in here thinking I would be entertained with a gripe about Telltale games.

Otherwise I may not have opened this thread and read the contents there of.

it is all about "views" and "replies"

To answer your question: No. I think they will protect Lee

maybe Lee will get hurt, and need his allies to help him through a whole episode, and depending on who they (his allies) are will change the way the episode plays out

I think that probably yes they will torture him. This can be done by introducing his wife who hates him or introducing Clem's mom who also hates Lee because he is "urban". They can also make him kill his best friend in a group (depending on your releationships in group) to protect Clem. TTG has endless variations of choices of how to make us feel bad for Lee, so I think they will do it.

I don't think they'll needlessly torture Lee but if the player makes some bad choices in the game, it should come back to bite him on the ass.

Sure, they'll go easy on him. It's not like the zombie apocalypse is tough or anything.

He's the bread and butter. They might rough him up a bit. They seem to love knocking him out. Other than that, besides a few emotional scares and the drama of the fall of the civilized world, I'm confident Lee will make it unscathed.

i say lee gets his hand bit and some smart ass says chop it off..or lee's leg wound shows signs of infection 'glossed over in ep2'

    the cup of water returns..

or lee's leg wound shows signs of infection 'glossed over in ep2'

its been 3 months, its either healed or he is hallucinating the whole episode due to blood poisoning from the infection

Welll, alot of stuff is going to happen to Lee, as most of the action has to revole around your character. However, I feel lee will be a bad luck charm, with bad things not happening to him, but to everyone around him.

    Clem included?

psychologically, a lot. I mean, he saw Mark, LEGLESS on the floor dying knowing that the entire group was eating them downstairs, that's enough to send some people mad.

Not to mention keeping clementine safe, seeing his two best friends in a constant war for control of the group, his parents dying, seeing a mans head get squashed by a salt-lick, saying goodbye to his zombified brother, seeing his parents blood smeared all over the floor like so much Nutella on toast.

And the most aggravating, annoying, MIND DESTROYING thing we have had to face so far:
    Duck, for obvious reasons

i'd like to see very important things happening to lee based on someone else's decision, which is based on how Lee treated that person.

Yes, exactly. Like a REAL choose your own adventure game where the choices leads to very different scenes instead of merely dialogues.

And example? I don't know if Kenny still decides to take you along with him in his RV even if you have been a complete dick towards him. After all, i think it's a given that Lilly will naff off at Woodbury.

    In Episode 5,
decisions made throughout the game determine how other people react to situations. This in turn determines who lives and who dies, with a possible "EVERYONE DIES" ending.

    Probably
    ...

    So what do you think?

I ain't gonna lie; it would be a pretty badass scene if Kaatja was patching Lee up, and you had to play as Kenny and shoot anything that crosses your sights.

you mean like if you side with kenny with larry 'dying' lilly doesn't save lee from the fence when andy tries to push him on to it ?

i didnt side with lilly the first time, so the point where you call out for lilly (if you sided with her she would help then) felt really out of place, anybody could have helped and seeing as we didnt need it, it just seemed weird to call out for her at that point

lee only calls out cos he see's her and clem and clem couldn't really do anything.
